    • Chronicles of Darkness cyberpunk game seeking help.

Right now I have much of the baseline plot, setting, and themes for the various splats done, but would still like a little more help. The game is set in Honolulu and the year 2078. The spkats allowed will be vampire, mage, changing breeds with war against the pure used for the baseline, demon, beast, changeling, and promethean. If interested hit me up for more details.

@the-sands probably a mage as perfected metals were supposedly a thing with atlantis, and that setting is shortly after the ladder "fell."

Went back to working on a cyberpunk shard I had an idea for a while back, but it is slow going like a mother fucker.

@warma-sheen Aspirations are what you're looking for, and it kinda falls flat since almost every 2e game I've seen with them also doesn't have much in the way of STs that can actually see or know what a players aspirations are unless they're staff or the players openly show them off in some capacity.

      I feel like that's a fixable problem.

I don't disagree. However, I'm not sure if there are a lot of people that want to fix it or have it fixed. I've gotten enough of an earful on people preferring their stats and quibbles not being known in the public in any form. This is why what I work on has sheets and the whole shebang visible to everybody.

There is no greater first world pain than one earbud dying in the middle of work.

Fuck the people that can't do their own job, and get upset that you won't stay late with them because they're lazy.

I've done quite a few shards over the years. I'll try to list off what I remember.

      Mass Effect
      Dragon Age (twice)
*Shadowrun (with the Changeling Seemings being the races)
      Bleeding Edge Cyberpunk
Dungeons and Darkness (what it sounds like)
      Several low fantasy games
      X-Men
Werwolves at War (werewolves in the "military" - blame Dogs of War and Dog Soldiers)
      Star Wars
      High "Fantasy" in Space
      Steampunk
      Victorian Horror
      1920s noir lowercase-m mage
Way too many high fantasy shards (14 attempts, 3 "completes")
      Wild west lowercase-m mage
Empyrean (I know it technically doesn't count, but I had to make all 42 powers my damned self)

@Arkandel There were more than a few powers like that in WoD. Create Opening (Opening Gift), the Telekinesis Numen, and a few others that elude me where the only negative was usually just to use X as an attack where you took a paltry -3. This isn't taking into account the hilarity of grenades + Shurikenjutsu 3.
