RE: PVP games/elements?
It was a bit weird. I apped onto a totally open PK game (oWoD) and like, no one really actually killed each other.

RE: Something similar to WoD, but not quite
I miss Scion ever so much. RIP Miruan the Introverted Sniper of Ares.

RE: Downvotes
I get downvoted now and again, I think you have to work at it to lose privileges. It's kind of a bummer, but it's hardly the end of the world.

Stomach woes. I don't know if it was a medicine or a stomach bug, but I feel like death and I want to die. So sore. I miss food and beverages.
And jesus christ, that guy. He's not worthy of the title father beyond 'genetic donor'.

RE: RL Anger
Oh boy. I love it when a co-worker is shocked I'm shy/not very social/bad at communicating. Shocker, motherfucker, I have a disorder (semanti-pragmatic languge disorder or PLI - pragmatic language impairment in the DSM V if you're curious or into cunning linguists). It's draining to socialize or even be near people (lol personality disorder). I like working alone.
The kicker is he finished the conversation with: "But girls are more social, right?"
BETTER HAND ME MY MAN CARD NOW.

RE: RL Anger
Man. This was depressing and horrifying. Doubly so after a shitty day.
But I guess the upside is, my lotion got here and new work shoes.

RE: RL Anger
I honestly get tired of dudes constantly rebutting 'but not ALL of us do this to women!' the split second anything related to misogyny comes up. I'm sure not all dudes do, but that doesn't mean your first reaction should be to try to dismiss or mitigate an experience. It's distracting and marginalizing. And it makes the conversation about the dude, not the person being discriminated against.
I had done my part and extra for a project in our AutoCAD class, but the guy who never turned up asked to put his name on my part. I told him no. Suddenly, I'm a bitch for taking credit for my work. But if I don't speak up, slackerdude does nothing and gets a grade as good as mine. I hate that shit. It's not fair. Yet, he had no problem with the guys not having him on their work. I was just expected to share by default. How is that fair? I mean, I normally love sharing but my work is my work. I spent time, energy and effort on that project. He did not.
I think @Ninjakitten is really right.

RE: RL Anger
@Arkandel It's sort of a lose-lose scenario. Why is the victim at an onus to have to leave? It really isn't fair, but if someone is popular and has a lot of power, there's not much else you can really do.
Also, I hate it when I have a bad day and I can't complain because then I'm just a whiny bitch but someone else's bad day is sympathy inducing. It makes me feel like a complete ass.

Also, balance is awesome. It sucks to be attacked by Blender Wielding death ninja while your super rich neighbor gets the Keystone Kopps.

RE: RL Anger
I thought depressionquest was good as a look into what someone with depression could go through, for people without depression. It seemed more like a useful experience than a game.
@dontpanda The best part is when they take the kid to a hospital and expose everyone else. Or treat the disease with honey, or some other BS and the kid ends up suffering and killed or disabled/maimed. It's just all offensive on so, so many levels.

RE: RL Anger
@deadculture Hey, better to cripple your kids, kill or maim others from perfectly fucking preventable diseases than risk AUTISM!11!!

RE: Space Lords and Ladies
@deadculture I just thought it was hilarious that the gal was like "LET'S BE FRIENDS, SOFIA." "Uh. Sure?" Though, Sofia trusted her as far as she could throw the gal because she was one of Renaud's peeps. But hey, RP is RP, so we gave her a chance. It was hilarious that the gal was like "I HAVE NO HOBBIES. ONLY WAR." And Sofia just ... sort of ... smiled and nodded. Even Hazat need a day off. Conversation was kind of hopeless because she kept asking Sofia about her ships, where they were and what was going on.
It really was as subtle as Hulk Hogan in drag.
I give her points for trying subterfuge, but ... yeah. Being well mannered didn't mean she was stupid. Sofia really did want to try diplomacy first, and I enjoy RPing with lots of people. It just didn't work out for me.

RE: Space Lords and Ladies
@Apollonius I still giggle at the attempts to get intel out of Sofia from Custodius' Hazat. "WHERE ARE YOUR BOATS?!" "Presumably in the water..."

RE: RL Anger
@Lithium I suspect a lot of it comes from people seeing tumblrs (and a LOT of them seem to be troll tumblrs) with absurd views and assuming all social justice movements are just like that.
