I also could be wrong. It just felt awkward to have a combo of things happen, I guess.

@Sunny I don't know. Feedback's okay, but I thought it was more of a discussion that veered off into gays in comics.

I think it was kind of awkward for Ixiokai to start a discussion or complain in the ad thread, but it happened and so here we are.

@Auspice Me, too. I usually like about the same amount of stuff. So I donate or gift it.

Hey! I remember you. I was Sofia and Lunair on BSG: Cerb. Sometimes I was a brat and I feel super bad about that.

@Cobaltasaurus Target. We get a lot of the upper middle class types who assume we're subhuman or something. Or people who are convinced they are above those of us who work there. I can't afford a lot of stuff while I work there - I'm focusing on debt management, and I am only a part time worker, that much is true. But I can make enough to work on things, squish some savings and have a bit for funsies, like PC parts or a loot crate now and then.

Honestly, most people who go into Target are awesome. It's just easier to complain about the outright assholes, than to type up how you get worn down from people constantly asking where (popular thing) is. We've been hit kind of hard by the boycott (whee), and we do get the odd protester. We still get people harassing employees about that policy, but fuck 'em. Corporate made the policy, it's a good one and people need to not be assholes.

@Thenomain I will admit I was a bit stunned to move for a moment. I just asked if I could help him find something. He sighed, beckoned over. And it turns out he was one aisle away from thing he wanted. I really just don't know sometimes.

      1. Please do not snap your fingers, whistle and point in front of you like I am a dog. Thank you.
      2. Please do not let your child chew on the nozzle of a can of pesticide. Thank you.
      3. I realize it's fun to have pizza, Starbucks, etc. at our store, but I swear to god 2/3rds of people ignore the trash cans every 3 aisles in favor of stuffing trash somewhere.
      4. Fuck you, people who leave ice cream hidden in non-freezer shelves. We have to throw it and the stuff that ice cream melted all over away. So damn wasteful!
      5. Stop opening things outside of Guest Service. We often have to defect it out if we can't repackage and sell. So, so wasteful.
      6. Groups of teenagers are the worst.

@Ninjakitten Ah, whoops. I misread. I guess it just feels odd in a way. And comics as a whole tend to treat their non-straight characters terribly.

@ixokai I don't know why it would give you the creeps when there's lesbian/yuri games that pretty much turn out to be straight dudes playing fetish bait as Surreality says.

And they didn't claim to be LGBT haven. It's a place for bi and gay dudes.

@Warma-Sheen And there are yuri/lesbian focused games. Or at least were.

@Apu NerdBox's stuff is kinda hit or miss. I liked the old style comic boxes, but who knows about the new.

I loved the Deadpool boxes. I was honestly disappointed in NerdBox's Arcade box. Not very much in it. So far, LootCrate has been pretty fun. I like the little Funko!Pop and stuff I don't like gets gifted.

I'd like to point out that we have people in America who starve to death. FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS, LOLOLOLOLOL. SPOILED AMERICANS.

We have Americans who die for want of simple, preventative medicare. Fucking spoiled Americans.

Don't get me wrong, we have it great in a lot of ways. But we also have a lot of problems.

We also have sexy guys named Nitro.

@Arkandel SCIENCE IS FOR COMMIES, YOU GODLESS HEATHEN. NOW SHUT UP AND EAT YOUR NON-GMO GRASS.

Never mind that people with Autism either lucked out and were high functioning enough to do well at some job or another, or they got locked in an asylum/the attic/quietly escorted into the forest instead of diagnosed and helped. Autism is a complex blend of genetic and environmental factors as far as we can tell with the frustrating fact that most non-verbal kids can't TELL you what's happening and that so many neurological issues share similar symptoms (see also: flu-like symptoms and every diagnosis freaking ever).

    • RE: The Shame Game

@Ganymede And some of them cause very real harm. Thanks to anti-vaxxers, we now have whooping cough, measles and several other childhood diseases we used to never see happen. Hooray outbreaks! All natural, 100% mother earth approved.

Of course, it's usually poor kids who die. But better to kill or cripple someone else's kid or your own kid than risk some imaginary side effect (Guess it's better to be dead than ~autistic~) made up by an asshole who faked a study and his medical license.

So ignorance can be incredibly dangerous.
