I am sure it's not okay but I wouldn't mind playing in Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive world.... swoons

(This is in every way a joke because I don't believe sports actually matter answer and I do feel blind loyalty to the home team.)

I mean, I love keeping things IC.

I love keeping things IC right up until the point where I realize that keeping things IC is not working AT ALL and I'm no longer in a good place.

So I don't think there is ever going to be a resolution for this.

I TOTALLY agree with that, personally.

I just also see people here going, "No, I don't enjoy talking OOC about stuff," and I feel like even that request is going to fly in the face of what they want. It feels like then it just... hangs there. Forever. Because you're not comfortable continuing to RP and they're not comfortable working things out OOCly to come to an agreement, then nothing ever gets resolved because neither person is comfortable bending. So I still don't think there's going to be a solid resolution.

You HAVE to cook cauliflower right. It took hubs and I several cauliflower crusts before we found a good one. (Sprouts brand idly.)

I'm not even a huge Avatar fan, but I feel like I would give this a swing, esp if you could set it up in Ares.

It's really common for every woman to be wished Happy Mother's Day.

      Here's one bullshit example: https://www.popsugar.com/family/Why-You-Should-Celebrate-All-Women-Mother-Day-44733416

We can respect women and everything we do.

It doesn't need to be on Mother's day.

    • RE: The ethics of IC romance, TS, etc

It always surprises me that there is an expectation of privacy from staff. My first game never had it, and I just always assumed dive and Chey could read and see absolutely anything they wanted to.

I feel like I am consenting to give away my rp privacy when I rp online in any format. This runs true also for my pages, mails, channel chat, ooc. It is there game, and I am a guest.

Is that morally or ethically right? I don't know.

My first Mu* didn't have a time correlation AT ALL. My Hazel has been 10 for... 7/8 years now? That's mostly because the game is dead, but for comparison, when I DID play, my Junipersky went from 5 years old to 12 in about eight months.

This doesn't add to the conversation at all. It just reminded me so I went down memory lane.

It's seems pretty clear to me. Are you the primary caretaker of a child or were you at one time the primary caretaker of a child? Yay! You are/were a mother.

You've never been the primary caretaker of a child?

      You're not a mother.

I'm not a mother. I don't have a WAY to be a mother right now. I really want them to stop grinding it into my face. I know it's innocent and that there isn't malice behind it (unlike, clearly, your mother-in-law who in this one instance was a terrible person) but it hurts like someone has punched me in the stomach.

It has been a lovely week. I hadn't RPed for ~two weeks because of life, but this week I had break and a chance to reconnect with so many of Norwood and Kenna's connections. Each of their stories got moved forward a little bit and they also got a chance to be involved in other people's stories which was even better.

      <3s to everyone.

I honestly find it difficult to RP //without// some kind of dice rolling any more. I don't want it to be the be-all-end-all of the RP where the rolls matter MORE than the RP (rolling initiative and then everyone announcing what they're going to do ooc before they roll murders my desire to be in that scene). But I like having the option of rolling.

I think there is a huge difference between the kid knowing it is happening and not also. Then following it with real authentic conversations.

Parents can also use this to be abusive, you are right. It doesn't have to be though.
