Is anyone watching Lady Dynamite on Netflix? Season 2 was released on November 10th and my husband recommended it to me so I caught up on season 1 recently.

@deadculture Personally, I'm kinda burned out on superhero movies overall. If it doesn't have amazing reviews, I skip it and I feel personally betrayed when something is well-received and I end up disliking it anyway (I am looking at you, Deadpool and Spider-Man Homecoming)

I am praying that Disney doesn't do the same thing to Star Wars. I love Star Wars. It still fills me with wonder and glee. I hope this more-is-more business model of a movie every year doesn't eventually get me to Star Wars fatigue like I'm at with superheroes.

@deadculture I agree. He has too much...face, if that makes any sense. I dunno. I am not using words well yet today.

I think would be nice to just get someone new-new. I don't that they would give a huge movie/part like that to someone unknown but it almost feels like we just always cycle through the same line-up of choices.

@kanye-qwest I have absolutely no problem with Ben Affleck going away. He can take his brother with him.

I just saw Logan Lucky a day ago. And I found it to be a fun movie to watch. Not something to take seriously but it was quite enjoyable for what it was. I recommend it.

Oh! Logan Lucky was good stuff! Kinda like redneck Ocean's Eleven. Soderbergh financed that himself, right? So it's basically the movie he wanted to make without studio interference.

I don't understand how anyone could have enjoyed that movie. I mean, the false eyelashes alone were so ridiculous that they were characters unto themselves.

@faceless Jimena was the best character ever and I miss her every day. Is that weird? That's weird. I don't care.

@Tinuviel I wasn't staff on Firan for too long -- long enough to get a name but I stepped down when they put a rule in place that all staffers were responsible for running at least one plot per month (or something like that). I'm good at some things but designing/running plots isn't one of them so rather than inflict my non-sensical storytelling on the player base, I went back to just being a player.

@Wolfs Sharpclaw .. sounds vaguely familiar. I probably had more characters on that game. Was it a Sylvan? I don't know! It was a long time ago!

@Coin I loved playing Cosima. She was the worst waitress in the world.

@Thenomain We're not that rare! Who did you play? Granted, the chances of me remembering who you were are slim since that game was forever ago and it took all my brain power just to recall my own character's names. And I'm not entirely sure I got them right. Remembering is HARD. What day is it? Where am I? Where are my pants?

@Faceless Daaaaaayne! Cressida trying her derpy hand at flirting was fun and I also remember having some really good OOC talks with you too.

Oof. I mostly just lurk here so there is likely a collective 'huh? who?' at my post. But maybe an old friend will stumble across this and we can be like HEY! Or an old enemy and we can finally fight to the death. Or perhaps someone I unknowingly wronged and I can make things right.

I played on various WoD games: Metro, Crescent City but can't remember what my character names were. Mila, maybe? And some girl who was blind to the living world but could see the dead. I also played on this MU*/MUD hybrid way, way, waaaaay back in the day called Chomestru or something like that.
