RE: Stranger Than Fiction MUX
@mr-johnson Am tempted to put that up on the site I'm working on as the 'no, there's nothing here yet' image. I think it will inspire an appropriate level of confidence. Y/N?

@theonceler Having fun isn't as much fun without people around to look on in envy!
(Pardon, I need to go take a scalding shower now after just typing that.)

@three-eyed-crow Same reason as Spider: 'stars' require an audience.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
@karmageddon "Oh, my god! I totally thought they had given up! When I told them I was giving my husband head at the time, they said I had no case!"
"...you were giving your husband head while he was driving?!"
"...don't be ridiculous. He would have gone right off the fucking road if I was doing that. What do you think I am, stupid?"
"Whew."
"I was driving."

RE: Stranger Than Fiction MUX
@quinn said in Stranger Than Fiction MUX:
No reply. Finally staff comes back and says that won't be possible. the people in the plot don't want any more people in it.
<rubs face>
A Team: "We just want our little clique to have this fun!"
Staff: "OK!"^ Clearly, these people have been taking the Spider-Certified Game Management Certificate Course and acing that shit.

@roz I more just expect they forget every damn time unless there's one of those long talks about it (that usually isn't worth the time if it's someone you only encounter casually once in a blue moon, with the uncomfortable side effect of feeling like puppy kicking), since usually it's one of those things that's default with them.
I'll still say something, but it's sort of like that relative nearly everybody has who is 'the hugger'. (I always tell that aunt, too, but... wow, is she ever a hugger. I think she has plastic man arms, for real; she once managed to hug me around a tray of champagne glasses I was pointedly holding in front of me. I mean howwwwwwww was that a thing?!)

@roz There's one case I just sorta mentally edit forgiveness for this into, which are those very genuinely sweet fluffy people (there aren't a ton of them in the hobby but there are a few) who are just like that by default with everyone. Like... I know it's not that they're trying to be creepy, and they aren't trying to disrespect my wishes in any way, and they have zero skeevy intent whatsoever, but it's such a default setting in their brain to either call everyone under the sun 'hon' or snug or hug or bounce or squeak or whatever else in a deeply ingrained way, and it's just something they don't even think about.
I don't like it, and it annoys me, but I know in those cases at least it's just who they are and it becomes a lot easier to live with.
Like, I can empathize with this cat on it, all "FINE THEN":
(Note slow footsy backpedal.)

RE: Fading Suns 2017
@packrat That is a really useful breakdown with the examples provided for the different regions/etc. It definitely helps re: visualizing the specifics and what to expect. That's a very helpful and handy RP tool.
