@Caryatid Do you think she plays who I think she plays?

      I have a to-do list too. "Glare menacingly" "Manipulate X" "Annoy Y". It's a pretty good list.

@Lisse24 Hey, you're not the only one to have said such things. Simply the most recent.

Right, that's pretty much what I thought. Thank you for explaining.

There has have been rumours laid down by unnamed sources that many Firan ex-pats have found themselves on Arx and have crafted niches and cliques. It's just a hypothesis, but it explains a great deal.

That's not what I said. I said we do not have a freedom of speech, of any kind. The government can make laws at any time restricting what we can say, and where we can say it, and so forth.

I might be wrong, as I live in a country without statutory or constitutional freedom of speech - but such a thing is simply "the government can't pass laws limiting how you can express yourself (most of the time)" right?

@surreality I vaguely recall reading an app similar in its historical setting, and the arrogance of the author, to this when I was Stalingrad. Apparently saying "Yes, I know. I was there" prompted them to not bother... I'm not saying it was he Himself, but my memory was stirred.

I don't even care about the accuracy of that story. I just really enjoyed reading it.

@Catsmeow Think of the worst player you've ever seen. Think of someone worse than that.

Custodius is the guy those guys look up to as an example of a perfect player. For actual details, just search for Custodius on the forum, you'll find plenty to justify the caution/suspicion/hatred etcetera.

I fathered my first child when I was fifteen. Do not recommend. My family said I could become anything I wanted, so I became a disappointment.

@WTFE There are some hypotheses that indicate that homosexuality might be one of those ways. But I don't know enough to judge the veracity of those thoughts.

@Thenomain I understood that speech somewhat differently. It wasn't that spreading was the problem, it was spreading without regard to the environment that made humans somewhat unique. Though we could always assume that Smith was flawed, altering facts to fit his worldview. But that'd never happen in reality, right?

@tek Evolution is weird. You're alive, thus you are not a failure of evolution. Your evolutionary purpose is to help protect against overpopulation, which is far more vitally important than spreading your genes. You are the bulwark of our security against self-destruction.
