You don't restrict yourself to things that can move.

This is true. This is a video of my last tryst:

      cat machine

If you're attracted to clean laundry, you're definitely bi.

I just want EVERYONE. All the time. Actual compatibility, attraction, etc. doesn't matter. Being bi just means I wanna sleep with everything that moves. SORRY.

      I guess I'm bi, then.

You don't restrict yourself to things that can move.

The only bi married people are swingers. It is known. sagenod

Or they're cheating on their partner, because bi people are greedy and can't help it.

I don't really see that as being different?

The main difference, at least in my interpretation, When writing, I'm not the character. All the characters are there, they interact, etc... but I'm not doing the action.

It's the difference between writing a play and acting it out.

Also because it's just easier. It's easier for me to tell people I'm gay and have them get all surprised when I hook up with a woman than to try and explain bisexuality is a real thing.

This is how I describe my sexuality:

      cat meow

Clearly you just haven't met the right man.

runs away, runs away very fast

She did, but I wasn't interested in listening to her recite Black's from memory over the canapes.

I mean. What I say my orientation is sure fuckin' differs, and my interest in individuals isn't defined by a label...

Learning to expand a viewpoint does not mean taking another experience as your own. It means learning to see things from another person's point of view, which is something we have a general lack of in today's world.

I know perfectly well what it means.

Playing a character on a MU is not writing a character in a story. At least not as far as I'm concerned. It is embodying a character through word and action in a real-time interaction with other people.

So this "confusion" is simply based on very different ideas on the nature of character, which results in your intention - to me - being incompatible with sense.

"Still bisexual but now annoyed" is how I'm going to describe Ember on Arx from now on, because it works regardless of context or situation

      Teagan is bi.
Yet another perk of Arx: political marriage can be had and you can have your lovers over there, whatever. I'll have mine.

Jeez, you don't have to go on and on about it, I accept your proposal, gosh.

I even made you this backpack to ride around in

Conversely, I had to hear someone use the n-word in a lounge because 'it factored into an academic debate about Lovecraft.' Some nerds do not get it.

I... I mean. Yes. Technically. It would.
But a MU is absolutely not the place to have academic debates. In the first case, because I demand to get paid for any academic debating I do.

ETA: This is meant more as an amusing "aww look Tinuviel is silly" rather than a legitimate response. Just don't say it, guys, c'mon.

I've largely found MUSHes to be far more progressive when it comes to gender/sexuality politics than when it comes to race.

If you say so. I've found that people's progressive attitudes toward my gender and sexuality directly correlate to how much they can fap to them, which I guess is better than a lot of reactions but is still pretty creepy.

This is the perk of being pansexual. People mistake me for woke because I'll fap to anything.

This is the perk of being bisexual. People don't know we fuckin' exist.

ETA: Why do I call myself gay then, you ask? Because fuck you, that's why.

@insomniac7809 But then how will people know my pc got these tiddies?

      <calmly wipes down the monitor>

In all seriousness part of my escapist fantasy is playing women with smaller boobs than mine. Because a strapless dress is part of my fantasy dream world, goddammit.

I honestly care about this more than hair/skin/eye color or combination thereof by miles and miles and miles.

I mean, maybe if we incorporate one of those winches they use for crossbows with, like, a corporate power corset or something?

I mean, you're a geek and a clothier. Surely this can be done.

      They're totally a thing.

ETA: Or were. Only sources I can find are Victorian-ish.

@Auspice I also hesitate to think that what race the PCs are is any indication of diversity. Sure, they're diverse characters... but that's not remotely the same as an actually diverse game. If the latter is the goal, then being grumpy when white people play white people is so not the way to fix it.

We've already been talking about it. At length. In circles. With bells on.
You just aren't adding anything, except that you're mad people aren't playing what you want them to play.
