As for the subject of insular RP, that's going to happen on any game that has teams/crews/etc, no matter what the theme. Was a thing on most comic games I RPed on. Was a thing on Star Wars Mush, albeit not quite as bad. It's just how it is. People want to RP with others whose characters have a common goal, I guess.
That was the one thing I enjoyed about having Kitty crewed with the Redemption. We mostly stayed docked in Eavesdown and we were able to pretty much RP with anyone. We definitely were not like a lot of crews who were on the move a lot or whatever.
I've done pretty well with avoiding Endgame spoilers as well as ones pertaining to the new Star Wars movie. I was unfortunately not as lucky with GoT (am waiting for the last season to conclude so I can binge watch the whole series since I fell behind by a couple) thanks to the title of a Yahoo article on it's main page, however. FFS.

I was on Zoloft and would get wicked headaches that'd lay me out for hours during the adjustment period. Might be that...?
Tomatoes are a member of the nightshade family (is why the leaves are so toxic, iirc). Not sure if that is something they'd know back then or not, however.
Pet peeve: Being short enough to hit my head on cupboard doors people leave open. I was looking out our kitchen window to see if the trash was brought to the curb and clipped myself good, just above my right temple. Didn't bruise, but I got a slight swelling that hurts still. At least my hair covers it.
Bonus related peeve: having a knot on my head where I lay my head on my pillow. FFS!
I am so sad. I know that places of great historical importance have burned down and been rebuilt in the past, but this is so devastating.
Being on a game that allows the players to make huge actions as their characters without making them jump through fucking flaming hoops of fiery death and shit.
I know I'm often cynical and all growly at people, but a lot has happened in the last couple of months that has done so much to restore my faith in my fellow man.
As of last night, I am over 25% to meeting my GFM goal and am at almost 50% to where I need to be to be able to afford all of the parts needed for a new streaming rig. The generosity of people never ceases to floor me.
For what it's worth, I'd probably still eat that.
Not a celebrity, but someone who was a very important part of our collective history as a nation:
My origin as a nerd started as a five-six year old in the 70s. I watched the first Star Wars movie, Star Trek The Motion Picture, played video games in the arcade my mom would take me to, and even would play some of the first computer games on my dad's boss' computer when I'd go to work with him on a late night.
My nana used to make homemade candles. I ruined it for her, though, as I drank some of the scented stuff as a wee one. On Thanksgiving, of all days. One trip to the ER and a dose of ipecac syrup later and... well, needless to say, but I don't think anyone felt like eating dinner after that. Nana stopped making candles after that, too.
A super generous friend got me a Switch, which arrived today, and another friend is looking into getting a family plan for Nintendo Online so we can play games with her sister and her sister's friend. To say I am utterly gobsmacked by their generosity is an understatement.
People like these two friends are why I can remember that for ever shitlord we have to deal with there are at least ten super nice, wonderful people to make up for their shitlordery.
