There are almost no guarantees in life but I can guarantee this: as a nurse, you will find patients elsewhere who need you just as much.

I am like should I really stay in this trench alone, on a sinking ship at this point?
And the answer is, I don't know.
Doesn't sound like that to me. Sounds like the answer is 'No' and you're well aware of that. So the question is really "Are you going to stay anyway?" How unhappy do you have to get before you say enough?

@silverfox Why would we have a party for moving the dumpster to a different alleyway? We're still IN the dumpster. And it's on fire. And covered in bees.
Without a dumpster fire, how can we cook and eat our marshmallows?
But cat litter travels over hardwood floors MUCH more easily than it does on carpet.
Agreed. I'd never have thought there would be states without mandatory vehicle inspection for all vehicles. Just this year, my mechanic said he couldn't pass my car because one of the tires was bad. Seems I was badly out of alignment. Sure, it kind of sucked I had to go buy a new tire but it's a good thing knowing it won't blow on the highway. Even nicer knowing someone else's car in front of me passed their inspection too. Theoretically.

My RL gripe is that time moves ever onwards.
Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" is twenty today. This is unacceptable.
Yeah, I felt like that when they said Eminem was nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. The only formal criteria for the performance category is that an artist has to have had their first record 25 years ago. I died inside a little.
5 minutes ago when I read that Mark Hamill was 70.

Speaking of old timey diseases that I was sure we got rid of along the way, polio is apparently still here.

I'm expecting to come down with bubonic plague any day now.
Go to the US southwest. You can catch it from prairie dogs and it pops up every so often in isolated cases. But it's usually not a big deal as it's treatable with common antibiotics.

The word "binging." Two syllables spelled almost identically, yet the I and the G are both pronounced differently, and there's no way to infer that without just knowing.
I mean, technically, they first G could be either, depending on if the base word is binge or Bing, the search engine. It'll never be as popular as Google but someone's gonna try to make that a word eventually so we might as well accept that both pronunciations are correct and have different meanings.
Lets not forget onomatopoeia. BING The bell is binging.

For example, if someone calls me mean things I'd probably handle that much better than another person. So what I'd consider abuse shouldn't be the totality of things when a player complains to me about an event.
Poopyhead.
And, of course, one has to consider the source as well.
@macha I've always wondered why just Queens as well. No one I've asked has ever had an answer. In any case, true; there can be different addresses for Medicare but they're all overseen by CMS. (As a side note, there's also Railroad Medicare.) Complaints against carriers who don't process Medicare claims correctly go to CMS.
Medicaid though is truly administered by each individual state and complaints - I can only speak for NY as that's where I am - go to NYS Department of Health and/or Department of Financial Services.
@silverfox Medicaid is administered by the states. Medicare is not. Both Medicare and Medicaid policies can be obtained from different private insurance companies such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, etc. For Medicare, that's called 'Part C' and comprises both parts A and B (hospital and medical respectively). Medicaid doesn't have parts.
I'm a medical biller and file claims to and get paid by all of the above and commercial policies all day long so do know what I'm talking about.
@silverfox You didn't give any of them ringworm. You just got caught unaware by it. Not your fault.
@kk Try Benadryl? It's far from proven but it also can't hurt unless you're allergic to it.
The best use for geometry ever. It's proven; larger pizzas are a better value.
I used to watch WKRP all the time. The Thanksgiving turkey episode still cracks me up.

thankfully, I can get dupes for all these at Aldi, all year round.
And cheaper too, I'm sure. I've never really understood the obsession
