@derp Call the shelters and the local humane society. Ask if anyone has reported a lost dog and, if so, what breed/description. If so, then you know the owners are looking for him and can safely give his location.

I could never foster. I'd get too attached and not want to give them up. Don't know how you do it.

I'd say that what a player should expect from staff after asking what's needed depends on staff's response.

If staff answers 'Well, there are no Gangrel bikers.' then staff is just acting as a talking +census command. However, if staff answers 'We need Gangrel bikers.' then they're speaking ex cathedra and implying there is an actual NEED for that role from staff's POV and that it comes with specific plot points and involvement.

@testament You might want to try massage. They won't reposition a bone but if all the muscles around it are tight and/or in spasm, it could be why it moves out of position. Massage could loosen the area and keep it from becoming a problem.

Note that, like everything, not all massage therapists are created equal and it might take a while to find one who you like and who is also competent.

Do straight women really like videos of shirtless men flexing their abs while pretending to receive a beejer, or is this what straight men think straight women find sexy?

Actually, there's an entire genre of gay porn where shirtless (naked) men flex their abs (anything and everything) while pretending (really) getting a blowjob. Usually they're marketed as being straight (yeah right) who are either curious or broke.

Maybe Youtube thinks you're a gay guy.

Keep in mind that St. John's Wort is, basically, a drug. And like all drugs can interact in bad ways with other drugs. You'll want to investigate how it affects any medication you're already taking especially if you're already on an antidepressant.

So it's like -- the inside of a pot pie?

Hmm. Now you mention it, very similar.

And while it does have an entire box of pasta, it's really pretty low carb as it's split up between so many portions.

I Don't Want To Cook For The Rest of the Week

      10 chicken thighs
      3-4 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cans cream of mushroom soup

      • Put in slow cooker on high for 8 hours
      • Remove thigh bones and stir vigorously to shred the chicken

Add 1 box (16 oz) of your pasta/noodles of choice

      • Cook another 2 hours on high

Pour in 1-2 cans of canned vegetables such as peas and carrots and mix well.

      Serves many over multiple days.

Variation: replace soup with your favorite BBQ sauce. Replace veggies with beans.

ETA: Forgot to mention, you'll need to add some water when you add in the pasta as it absorbs all the liquid as it cooks and you don't want it too dry. I generally add enough to just cover everything and maybe a little more after an hour or so when I check it and give it a stir.

      Jewish For A Day

So, here's a recipe for the best potato pancakes I've ever had. I'd been channel surfing many years ago and landed on PBS just as they were announcing the next show: recipes from a real NYC Jewish deli that had been in the family for generations.

But first, a recipe for schmaltz (chicken fat). It's optional (not really) but makes the potato pancakes (everything) taste so much better. Right @Cupcake?

How to make chicken fat (schmaltz):

Remove fat from raw chickens/pieces: small bits of skin should be included
Freeze fat till you've got about 8+ ounces
Chop a small onion (clove of garlic is also good in addition)
      Season with 1/2 tsp salt
Put everything in a frying pan and simmer

Fat will be rendered into a liquid
Simmer for 15 minutes or so to get it well seasoned
      Strain into a jar
Refrigerate for later use: lasts a while, can also be frozen
Eat gribenes (leftover skin and onions) for a yummy, artery clogging snack

      Now for the main dish.

      Potato Latkes (pancakes)

      1 1/2 lb potato - finely grated
      1 1/4 cup onion - finely chopped
      2 eggs - beaten
      1/2 cup flour
      1 cup matzo meal
      3 tsp salt
      1/4 tsp pepper
      1/2 tsp baking powder

1 Tbl chicken fat (optional (not really))
      cooking oil

Note: adjust potato/onion ratio to your taste.

Press potato in a strainer to remove excess water
      Combine all well
Heat oil and chicken fat in skillet till sizzling
      Form patty out of mixture
Fry in oil till golden brown on each side
Remove to paper towel to drain excess fat
      Eat while hot
Good with a dollop of sour cream. Apple sauce isn't bad either.

      Notes:
Check Jewish section of supermarket for matzo meal
Chicken fat can be excluded (not really) but improves the flavor

You can also use one to remove stains from toilets. Just soak it in water first.

Don't worry, I tend to hate everyone. I'm inclusive like that.

S'long as you hate everyone for individual reasons, and not just saying that like racists do to say they're not really racist.

It's okay to be racist if you hate the human race. It's the only "race" that has any real meaning anyway. As far as we know. Until the Galactica shows up anyway.

    • RE: General Video Game Thread

To elaborate a little on the above, maximum level is 80. That's not where the game ends though; you could argue that's when it begins.Up to 80, you're leveling, doing your personal story, doing map events, etc. You can level by killing things, exploring, or crafting. Crafting isn't tied to your level; it has its own and you could max crafting before 80.

All of the expansions are geared to level 80 so all of a sudden, you have a lot more to do The expansions do cost, only the basic game is free. There are two major expansions currently Heart of Thorns and Path of Fire. There's also not quite as major expansions: Living World Seasons 2-4 (Season 1 can't be played as it was a live event so you only get a recap now). Early next year, another major expansion is arriving.

Then there are 9 classes. Each has 2 elite specializations which grant different abilities. A third spec for each is coming with the next expansion. So really, there's a huge emount to do even once you hit 80.

I have to second Guild Wars 2 (which was mentioned either here or somewhere else, I don't recall). It's a lot of fun, it's updated often, the basic game is free so can be tried for no cost, and most amazingly of all, the other players are incredibly helpful. I can't think of a single troll that I've encountered.
