Double post since the first was a while ago and I only now went to check. So, checked online at the market I shop at. Everything priced is the store brand. Since frozen is generally cheaper than fresh, that's what I looked at.

1 pound bag of broccoli florets is 2.09. 1 pound of chopped broccoli (basically the stalks chopped into dime sized pieces) is 1.19, so that at least is cheaper. 1 pound bag of mixed peas and carrots is also 2.09.

Chicken is 1.79 a pound. I almost never see pork any more lower than 1.99 per pound. Cheapest beef is 3.99/lb which is fortunate since I really like steak but it's the least healthy option.

Meanwhile, a 1 pound box of pasta is 88 cents. It's on sale. Normally it's 99 cents.

The food supply, yes. But it's not really the food supply per se, it's the available food supply. And by that, I mean that lettuce is more expensive than mac and cheese. The lettuce with actual nutrients in it, that is. Not the iceberg shit. Broccoli? More expensive than chicken or pork. Eating healthy is damned expensive.

So yes, the food supply but the underlying problem is income inequality. It's just more affordable to eat crap that will pack on the pounds.

Interesting bit of trivia about Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. The story is basically based on the Roman legend 'the Rape of the Sabine Women' (which is actually an inaccurate translation as the Latin root doesn't imply sexual assault but kidnapping). In fact, the song 'Sobbin' Women' makes allusions to it. Sobbin' = Sabine.

By all means, treat the unvaccinated if they come down with it. We're not barbarians to refuse medical treatment to someone who needs it.

However, as they are asking for it, they should pay for it. No free medical care for the adults who don't have a valid medical reason to refuse vaccination.

Yeah, it's quite good. The lecturer is a law professor. And he introduces a detective later on who says - very first thing - 'He's completely right.'

Definitely worth watching.

The word you're looking for is criminals. The ones making the calls are criminals who are robbing people. There's no softening that.
