I had a concept I really liked, but RL immediately kicked my butt.

I'm a moron. Ahem. If you had a civilian character you want to log into to have them drafted into the star navy, please make a temp character so I can reset your character's password. :X I didn't realize setting someone to 'gone' reset their password because I don't read helpfiles like an idiot.

I'm going to do a soft re-open of Euphoria, for now it will be for military PCs only. Civilians will be around but in the background. Events will happen either monthly or bi monthly depending, and in the mean time I'll be making sure the grid is fully set up.

Starting this Sunday 'm going to sit down and write up some "this is what happened" posts and wrap up previous plots. If you have things you would like for your pcs to have done either for returning players or if you just want closure for pcs if you're not returning to the game-- hit me up in game or here.

The Last Road Opening Event: Bartertown Week!

We're kicking off the full open of the game with a week-long series of event as the PCs (residents of the Sanctuary) travel to Bartertown to cement a deal between the two. This a a great time to come and give the game a try, and we've put up 10 pre-made Tier 1 characters for just that purpose. Each was created without a specified gender or description so you can personalize them to suit your preferences. You can see a list of them at http://www.lastroadmu.com/roster. The three that have profile icons and are set app-only are not the Tier 1 pregens.

Things kick off Sunday with the convoy trip to Bartertown, starting at 4pm Eastern US. It will be an all-day RP event. More events will run throughout the week.

I just wanted to note (since I know some folks have been missing Space Gamez) that the space system is now in place on the game.

Since I've had one whole player interested in this, I think I'll shelve it. Gonna try something a bit different instead.

October 1707. The coast of Cornwall is a windswept, exposed place, and a huge, unprecedented storm coming in off the Atlantic could mean danger, it could mean battening down the hatches, or for the entrepreneurs of Penmarth, it could mean profit.

Trelawney Cove is officially switching to open beta from the beginning of November, and we’re launching with a slow-safe week of action from 24th October around one of the greatest storms in British history, for those who want to be involved.

We are above all a collaborative sandbox game, deliberately aimed at those of us with less time or ability to play constantly, whether through illness, family, children, work, or just 2020 on the whole. Staff do not run plots out all the time - instead we provide the buckets and spades, the tools for RP, support and ideas, and we improvise together to build a beautiful sandcastle.

Now is a good time to get a character on the grid if you’d like to help build our story. You don’t need to be a historian to play - if you can smell the salt air and the whiff of gunpowder on the breeze, if you can feel the resentment in this small town for the threat of the authorities, or the oppression of the outside world for our safe haven of Penmarth, drop by and find your place with us.

I had a lot of fun on the game, unfortunately RL just got in my way. My activity in both TSS and Arx went to zilch. Just a lot of mental fatigue from work and RL, my creativity has hit rock bottom. Hopefully I can find the spark again to want to write and RP sometime in the future.

I also think the survey can be a very good source of valuable information for game runners who care about the game. Sort of like an exit interview which can be answered anonymously.
