I had a lot of fun on the game, unfortunately RL just got in my way. My activity in both TSS and Arx went to zilch. Just a lot of mental fatigue from work and RL, my creativity has hit rock bottom. Hopefully I can find the spark again to want to write and RP sometime in the future.

I also think the survey can be a very good source of valuable information for game runners who care about the game. Sort of like an exit interview which can be answered anonymously.

@EvilFerret Thanks. I appreciate it, but I have decided that a guy who is completely new to staffing trying to run a game all on his own and not even trying to find additional help and also pre-banning everyone in an entire town as well as multiple VPN tunnels because of one "troll" is enough red flags for me. As much as I am itching for a republic era game, I figure someone else is going to come along with another one done the right way in the next year or two, given the direction of the media currently.

In my mind, trying to staff alone or joining a game with only 1 staff member is never a good idea. Because we are all human and not only can we not do everything ourselves, we need accountability. Myself included. I would never, ever staff alone, because I don't trust myself.

A couple of additional bits re: the 1:1 change:

There's a calendar blip in which everyone in encouraged to have some fun time-tornado shenanigans. Did you go to sleep and wake up in a totally different house? With a dog you don't remember getting? Also exactly when did you start this new job?? People coming in from outside town can absolutely use this as an in for why they showed up. 'THIS THING WHERE 12 WEEKS VANISHED, WTF?' is a perfectly good reason to arrive at the seeming locus of this weird. The part where the rest of the (mundane) world seems to think this_is_fine.jpg while everyone with in town woke up almost certain they left the stove on or felt an earthquake is a good reason to be Looking For Answers.

Just a heads up, that server has gotten a little spotty (its the Rhost Mu server, a few of them are in semi-retirement). We will work to get it on Silvertree, the host has backups and long lasting batteries for power outtages and keeps us better informed. Sorry for inconveniences.

Just an update, we have a lot of events on the calendar for the next month, including flashback scenes for townies, drive in vignettes where people can watch the movie while they RP, and plot has started kicking off. There is a lot that people can get involved in, and we highly encourage people to run their own plot as well.

Stop by, plenty of concepts are open and we have a robust roster list for people who want PC connections or a way to jump right into the story!

CG menus have now been upgraded. They will now longer block the majority of commands (though they do block the inventory command, and replace help and quit with their own versions).

The new CG menus are also bi-directional now (meaning you can back up if you want to). Be aware that at various stages this will require erasing progress in order to prevent things such as a character setting their stats to qualify for a merit and then lowering the stat while keeping the merit.

Finally, the menus now support the ability to quit part way through and will allow you to resume where you left off when you type +cg again.
