ln all seriousness, y'all, the Monin cane sugar cola syrup. It's very different and worth a try.
First sip was 'what is this about?!' and it was because it had flavors beyond 'is mouth-puckeringly sweet'.
If you're one of those 'don't drink soda often, but when you do, you want it to be really tasty' people, it's a good call 'cause it keeps a long time and will last well. It is not a super-concentrate like the soda stream syrups and similar, so you have much more control over 'how sweet do I want this to be?'

We still have tonic aisles around here, although they are fewer and further between than they were when I was young. When I was a kid I thought that tonic was storebrand soda cause that's what my dad bought and called it. And then soda was like, your Cokes and Pepsis.
And if I had known my husband called it 'pop' I never would've married him.
I've always been curious about what tonic water is like, myself, but Dad says he has a definite allergy to quinine, so that's nothing I want to experiment with, as to whether I inherited that allergy.

Me for the Pepsi peeps. I'll admit it was my first caffeinated drink ever that I stole while at a friend's home and never told my parents I drank. (Caffeine was a super nope in my family. )

I grew up on Pepsi, but now I'm all about the Dr Pepper. The diet kind. I know they're switching to zero sugar, but it's still super scarce here, so I stock up on the diet.
I miss the good flavors, though. The cherry vanilla Dr pepper, or cherry vanilla coke.. black cherry IBC.

@macha The whole Dr. Pepper Zero line works for me. My favorites are the regular Dr. Pepper Zero and the Dr. Pepper/Cream Soda Zero. So good.
