Which device do you play from?

I was just mildly curious, what's your guys' MU'ing setup?
For example (given the hardware requirements are so low) are you using an old machine? Do you have one device dedicated to MUSHing? Do you play from a laptop or a desktop? Or are you one of the daring souls who MU* from a tablet (or phone!)?
What's your gear?

I'm pretty 50/50 from a Surface 4 when I'm at work and my home desktop when I'm at, well, home. Actually, now that I play mostly on Ares games I guess I'm maybe 33/33/33 adding in the web browser from where ever I happen to be and can get a pose in.
-
Until I got my 2nd monitor on my desktop, I pretty exclusively used my Macbook to MU from (so I could play games or watch movies on the desktop). Now that I have 2 monitors, the laptop is only used if I'm chillin' in bed RPing (sometimes happens if I'm winding down for the night while wrapping up a scene) or just don't wanna sit at my desk.
I use Potato on the desktop, Atlantis on the Macbook.
At work I hang out on SGM because Staffing. I use Duck client there. On my phone.... I have Mudrammer, but I use the web portal for Ares because it's just easier in a lot of ways.

PC and Tablet mostly.
-
Laptop, on the dining room table (I do not have a dedicated desk, as all of them have been ceded to various children, the former office/computer room got turned into a bedroom for #4, and another random desk somewhere would just be a clutter magnet. Now that I dont play WoD mushes I dont need my reference books, but I do have a bin that has my fading suns books and notebook (I still do better with on paper notes).
-
Tabletop computer almost exclusively, but I've bought a converter cable for my tablet so I can hook a regular keyboard to it, cause there is no chance in hell I'll ever learn to type fast enough on it to be able to RP efficiently. Been aiming to try this out more when at the cabin, using my phone internet and hook it to the tablet and use the keyboard.
Only thing I hate about tablets are the limited clients for it, I haven't found any I like. Thankfully, since I only play Arx atm, I can play through the browser client they got.
Used to have a laptop, but I never liked it much, couldn't sit comfortably.

This reminds me that I need to dig my little bluetooth keyboard out. The one that came with my iPad's cover has the worst battery life. If I, over the course of lunch, use it intermittently (so intermittent use over the course of an hour).... it dies.
But somewhere I have a bluetooth keyboard with a better life and I can, theoretically, attach magnets to it to take advantage of the case.

Probably 50/50 with phone or pc with cheesesoftware web client

I've tried MU*ing on my laptop while in bed a few times and it feels really uncomfortable. How do you do it, do you use a stand? Just in your lap?
Although I'll say this, a cooling pad made playing from my reclining chair much more bearable. The only thing I mind is the need to route a power cable over since my gaming laptop sucks electricity like crazy.

I'm one of those people who will just sprawl on their stomach in bed at wtfever angles.
Look, I'm a single lady who has a king size bed. If I don't sprawl in it at least once a week what even is the point?!

-
60% webclient from work PC, 40% laptop on couch or in bed at home (Beip client).
-
70% on macbook, remainder on phone via portal, about a quarter of the remainder from bubblebaths.
-
I probably spend more time connected via phone or tablet but that's really just to check in on stuff.
If I'm actually going to type anywhere near extensively, I need to use the desktop. It's ancient now but keeps up a pretty good framerate for any MU* I've ever connected to.
-
@cumush Wtf do you guys type on a touch screen? I'm having a violent mental reaction even thinking of coping with text scrolling and typing paragraphs of sets on a phone or even a tablet for that matter.
Teach me your ways.
-
99% on my home laptop. I won't use the webclient from my work computer given how heavily monitored usage is at my company and while I will pop on from my phone to check things occasionally, the connection sucks, the screen is too small, and touchscreen typing makes me want to shove a fork into my eye.
-
50% on my work laptop, 20% from my desktop, 30% from my other laptop.
-
Almost entirely from my Macbook on Atlantis, either docked at my desk into a monitor/keyboard/mouse setup or in bed with a lap desk. Occasionally I check in on my phone via MUDRammer.
-
Almost exclusively on home laptop via Duckclient(which I don't think gets enough love), occasionally Potato, but I prefer how spawn windows work in Duckclient as opposed to Potato.
Sometimes, briefly I'll log into web client via browser but I don't like doing since I know that my company monitors internet usage.
But I figure if I have coworkers using web broswers to listen to youtube or Spotify at their station, or other checking NFL score updates, I can log into some mush without getting pulled into an office and asking if I'm leaking insider trading information.

it gets more love than it deserves. I use it at work and hate it.
How can a client not parse percent signs correctly?!
