@Derp I think it's pretty telling that a longer term player posted on reddit about her own issues with the staffer in question (shaleahx). I have had my own issues with harassing and uncalled for sexual shit going down, from an npc animated to call my character a whore and try to rob her and then threaten to slander her to her boss, to the byn lieutenant animated to demand my character suck their cock, to the bartender npc animated to lie to her soldier boyfriend saying she was fucking someone she was interviewing for her boss, to having a flea script tagged with forced emotes and hp loss to another of my character's /and/ the soldier she was trying to sleep with in secret, to any number of random elves who had never spoken to my characters literally willing to die in the arena while publicly shouting they'd fucked characters of mine. And me? I'm neither the player the staffer in question left his pregnant wife to hook up with after their character's TSing, nor the player that a top tier staffer sent an unsolicited dick pic to. Nor the dude with cptsd after another staffer kept trying to fuck while underage. Now me? I have never personally had a problem with the staff member in question. But you would have to get up pretty early in the morning to look bad in comparison to even just the history I personally know of of misconduct there. Full stop.

Funny how often Staffers will come out and say 'oh goodness me no our staffer buddy would never ever eeeeeeeever do something wrong. Must have been the person who reported it. Ignore all other corroborating stories.'

also it definitely seems that one of the staffers has a fetish for calling women whores. despite you know, that not being in their theme from my brief glance over the game? gender equality; women don't get shamed for sexual proclivity if men don't?

I'm looking at the IP match to another player. Sure, it's a small world or whatever, but not that damn small.
Also, has anyone cared enough to check if between the two Shalooonsh names on Discord, one of them is spelled shalooonsh and the other is spelled shaiooonsh? Because I've definitely seen people in Discord groups make duplicates of someone's name using the capital-i-looks-like-lowercase-l trick for 'funny hijinks' like sending dick pics.

There's no need to do that since Discord doesn't enforce names being unique. It's also super easy to spoof Discord conversations because Discord is literally just a chromium tab and you can straight up enter the Chrome dev mode and start editing the text.
What is obvious to you may not be obvious to me and vice versa.

@Groth AFAIK you can't change your #tag to the same one as someone with the same name, but there's nothing stopping you from doing so if you're one letter off.

@Pandora While true, you can edit the window itself to show whatever you want, then take a screenshot and offer that up as proof.
I'm not saying this did happen, but I'm agreeing that it could happen.

i am curious if the accuser will come back and allow the screensharing option. given how many people have had this experience, i don't disbelieve her, but there's credible enough reason that it could be faked. if she screenshared with a couple of non-biased people, well.

A longterm player like Shaleah or I might have been willing to do a screensharing option. Someone who evidently tried the game for some amount of time a month or shorter, why would they care to let staff see her desktop or even go to further effort than fire off the proof and if they don't accept it damn them she already posted to reddit anyway.

@Jeshin oh, not staff. There were a couple people who suggested letting unbiased third party person screen share. But yeah, I do realize that a lot of new, random people wouldn't do that.
I would. Because I am all about JUSTICE and BURN EVERYTHING THAT IS TRASH. But. When I was new to mu'ing, I would have definitely just moved on.

So, in other words, they're saying that...
THIS particular incident of staff/player trying to force IC sexual situations and quid pro quo was a directed spoofing attack by someone using a fake Discord account, and is completely separate from lists of previous sexual harassment situations levied against the accused in the past.
