@Aria got me a phone (which I really needed anyway) and a copy of Brockway's The Empty Ones, a sequel to The Unnoticables which I'd read when it came out in 2015 and never realized had turned into a trilogy.

My mom got me a Master Class subscription.

I got a kitchenaid stand mixer and a Dyson cordless vacuum. The vacuum wasn't in the plans but given that my vacuum decided to call our relationship quits on Christmas Eve, I decided to upgrade.

The KitchenAid is for all my gluten-free baking needs. I am totally jazzed about it. Also the color is so pretty; retro minty green.

I have a KitchenAid that is blue but I have seen that mint green one and envy.

I got hooks for the bedroom door to try and keep things more organized. I got a nice little journal. Both of those were from the roommates.

On Christmas, a friend of mine found out I was looking at crystal pendants. He decided I needed two: rose quartz and an amethyst - with one having a little stamped disc with my first initial, the other with my last initial. And thought to get them on chains slightly different in length, so I could wear them both if I wanted. Super thoughtful and pretty. I'm sure some of it was he knew I was all alone on the holiday.

Then a friend bought me Minecraft. And then stopped playing it 2 days later, and will not be renewing the realm sub.

if you ever play Terrafirmacraft let me know. I loved it when my buddies played it, but they all decided it was too hard and went back to their other modpack which -I- consider too hard.

I got a completely impractical but lovely to look at wooden book-stand, the sort that sits on a table and holds a book open nicely. It's very nice, and I keep setting books on it and standing back to admire them, but I seriously do not have a house furnished to make it practical to leave out all the time. (My house is a small 1940s Sears kit house that is 950 square feet of living space.)

And a Dana Scully Barbie doll.

And a piece of scrimshaw set into a pendant on a chain. The scrimshaw is a family heirloom, obtained a long-long-long time ago by a grandmother, but being given a piece of it was a surprise.

@Aria Mmmm BPAL. They honestly are the ones that got me making different scents, and I fell in love with it - making it into soaps and bath salts and bath bombs. I really, really want to save up for a set of their DnD scents again.
