While it's true that I'm working on a rather elaborate game right now, there's also a few I wish I could make but for one reason or another, I decided not to.

The Toonamu game, where it was like, a multi-theme kind of deal, primarily centered around anime. I mainly didn't do it because I realized that I didn't really enjoy mashing together so many things that didn't quite fit seamlessly, and I had trouble envisioning where I would take the game if it did get finished.

A Power Rangers MUSH is another one I always wanted to do. My main reason for not doing it is mostly because it's such a niche thing that I don't think most of my friends would play or be interested in playing. I'm sure plenty of people would, but when I make a game I really like it to be something that all of my friends will play, it's just how I am.

I also always wanted an SCP game, but I just feel like I'd run out of steam for running it quickly, I don't know. It was always kind of a shaky foundation (ha ha) to build a game on top of.

And lastly, I'd say, a big one I always wanted probably more than these others. An L&L game based entirely in Hell, where people are denizens of Hell doing L&L shit. I think a lot of people would enjoy and play that, and it lacks most of the problems of these other concepts. But my main reason for not making it is mainly all the OOC drama that comes with running an L&L game. Though I have considered secretly building this MUSH and paying for the server space, but giving it to @Jealousy to run, mostly because I think it would be hilarious to see her run a MUSH.

Personally I would l would love to make a new Fading Suns game and have gotten fairly far with it in the past, to the point where I had most of a grid in place.

But in practice? I absolutely will burn out long before finishing something like that and would definitely not have the time and energy to run a game. From experience, the longest I can keep personal momentum going on something like that is about a month and a half.

Also I cannot code and trying to learn how again turns out to be much more difficult than when I was in my teens.

          7th Sea.

I would give my kingdom for a 7th Sea game. But would I make it myself?

          ... no.

I think a L&L style game in Hell would be amazing. I think a L&L style game set in Olympus would be really neat too.

7th Sea: 1st or 2nd Edition? I'm still wrapping my head around 2nd Edition. Played it a few times with my TT group and it seemed to flow pretty well.

I'd love to see a Masters of the Universe game. With the upcoming MotU RPG I might see about making it happen.

Dark, steampunk Wizard of Oz. It wasn't one book, it was a series, with all kinds of crazy amazingness.

Something set in the world of The Dragon Prince - the anime.

Something set in the world of The Dragon Prince - the book series written by Melanie Rawn.

A Mage game set in Philadelphia, which has all sorts of crazy occult history. The Skulls fraternity? Actually exists at UPenn and was the inspiration for that garbage movie. Harry's, the pharmacy turned occult shop that was opened in 1917. The Mutter, the medical oddities museum, because you know there's some weird shit going on in a place crammed full of jars of preserved human organs.

@ZombieGenesis My friend and I wanted to open an L&L game dealing with Heaven and Hell, as well as mythical creatures who fall into certain categories. I'm sure you can figure out where the vampires, demons, angels (fallen and otherwise), seelie fae, unseelie fae, etc go.

And also having them meet places on Earth and consort with mortals which is frowned upon. I have rosters and family made.

I live in and grew up in Philadelphia. My mother raised me teaching me about witchcraft and stuff, so Harry's was a regular place I was taken to visit as a kid. I'm quite familiar with it.

I have much of the background, first plots, setting, and theme for two Ares games, but don't have the brain to do anything mechanical with Ares:

                    • A fantasy exploration/archeology game about people coming to explore in the wake of a centuries-long magical apocalypse that transformed one half of the continent. Ruin delving, discovering weird new magical species, and making magical food from them. Sort of a cross between Annihilation and Battle Chef Brigade.

                    • An original urban fantasy game set in a fictional city, meant to evoke a lot of the urban drama/police procedural cinematic drama, with extra magic.

I'm sure as heck in no rush to get to hold all the things together to create my own game but if I ever do? I have thought about basing one off the free town of Fredericia, Denmark -- which historically had freedom of religion and asylum for any crime committed anywhere else since 1650. The result was a Wild West-like chaotic border town-feel, with half a dozen religious denominations and factions struggling for survival, hitmen and kidnappers from elsewhere hunting wanted men who in turn dared not step outside the city gates, a large military garrison constantly feuding with local land owners, and a plethora of absolutely over the top personalities and stories -- and it's all very well documented.

Then add, oh, and by the way, the magic of folklore of superstition is real, shake, and bake.

                            I vote for this.

@Aria You know I would be down for either Dragon Prince themed games. But playing a Sunrunner in particular would be delightful.

                                      Carry on.

If I ever run a game again (hahaha no) it will be Dragon Age. Because that’s what I want to play.

Small space-limited up to 15-20 player (with no alts) Fading Suns game here, concentrating less on the L&L noble politics and more on exploring a new system (so the prequel before the L&L stuff starts in earnest). Just do not have the energy or the know how to code the system. I pretty much just want to tell stories.

Maybe at some point i will have the energy to continue learning code/thinking about adaptations but for right now realistically its not in the cards.
