The MU* Musical by Disney.
-
Someone had made a character called Guestronaut and I liked it so much that I wanted to make this every guest character.
Unfortunately I couldn't make this the default guest login without forcing everyone to type 'connect guestronaut' at the login screen.
We have guest characters now, if not guestronauts.
-
That is odd, I've seen places that have names like Guest 1, or Orange Guest, etc.

The number is added as part of the whole Guest system. Chime's Mux fork has an amusing bug in it where the Guest may start at 34 or 16 or other random numbers. I've asked her to leave it in.
or Orange Guest, etc.
Probably Rhost or Penn, not Mux.
-
As long as there is never a Guest #1, so we can keep asking who they are.
Or maybe always a guest #1, so we can keep asking who they are.
-
I always like it when Guest #2 logs in somewhere and I happen to be in the OOC room because that allows me to make my by now very out of date Highlander joke/reference.
-
I propose naming all guests, henceforth, Jill.
-
@surreality You are evil!
I like it.
-
Welp.
@Thenomain
On Penn, it just requires the Guest characters to have the Guest power, and have the password guest. Otherwise it then connects to them in DBREF order, and doesn't duplicate connect if they're all used up. Test it that way? -
@Bobotron There is apparently a guest power in TinyMUX. Hmmmmm.
-
@surreality
It can't hurt to test it. On Penn, you create whatever name (usually Guest#), give them the password guest and @power them Guest. Then they connect in ascending DBREF order. -

... Goddammit, do I have to do everything around here?
Yes.

Manhattan: Highest percentage of punk lesbians per capita in a Pentacle assembly in the United States.
I am quite enjoying this game. I feel like the theme is just starting to click in, but I enjoy a slow burn for plots.

Maybe.
Maybe all the guys are boring.
-
I don't know most of them are pretty interesting.
-
I agree with Songstress. So far the few I've seen have been fun. Having a disproportionate goth-lesbian population is kind of a staple for WoD or WoD-inspired MU*s.
Enjoying this MU* so far, though I haven't quite hit my stride in terms of plot integration yet. Excited to see how the MU* grows.
-
Plot integration and continuation remains a constant pain in any MUX-type game. It's so hard to run meaningful, long-run plots and still allow them to be accessible to most players, especially in a game where there's such a disproportionate amount of player availability. We are trying, though!
And I do think the slow burn theme we've started with is rather conducive to this. Hopefully the excitement continues!
Also, punk lesbian Acanthus are canon. The picture's right there in the book!

British punk lesbian Acanthi are canon. And cool.
Anyone else? Posers.

I "play" a cool dude who is absolutely not a lesbian.
