What do you WANT to play most?

Although I did not vote this I think my dream MU* would be a Castle Falkenstien game that focused on adventure, that said I know it would never happen.
Nowadays we call that 7th Sea.
I bet it will happen.
I really don't see 7th Sea as that close to Castle Falkenstein, I like both but 7th sea lacks sea powered mechs and the presence of the fae. Granted those two things might have been changed in the newest edition, I have not read it yet.

When I say dark fantasy, I'm saying as grimdark as Bill Nighy and Nick Cave drinking motor oil atop a pile of bones while listening to the audiobook version of Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar
I'm thinking more akin to the middle ages scenes from Underworld, where there is the darkest, blackest, foulest magic out there in the night. Where piles of stripped bones line the entrance to the unsurvivable forest. Where the Midnight Queen awakens for the first time in a thousand years and marches with her army of the undead, adding to her ranks with every mortal they kill.Or some shit like that. I dunno.
So, the Witcher.

@Ganymede With more sex.

I would give my left foot for a good MU set in Seanan McGuire's October Daye universe.
-
I'd pay good money for a Fallout game. Preferably based somewhere around New Vegas. NCR, the Legion, the Strip, and other factions vying over control of New Vegas.
Takes me back to the Fallout game someone put together, I think around 2008 or so? Good game, wish it hadn't closed down.
Original sci fi or original fantasy, I'd also play those too. Or at least an original fantasy where my only option isn't Arx.
Also, someone mentioned Conan? Gimme gimme.

...I would laugh pretty hard if she didn't allow M's based on it. It wouldn't surprise me in the least, but I would laugh. More than a little. (She's an infamous former M'er.)

So I put in Original Sci-Fi, but I am really hoping 2nd Edition Scion will transfer well to a MU. Want to play sooo bad.

Avatar:The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra, or Into the Badlands. Very cinematic oriented combat with an alternative world setting.
I just powered through Legend of Korra for the first time and I would be so, so behind an Avatar game, or really any sort of wuxia setting.
My next choice would be what it's always been, a game that is just meant to be wacky gonzo stress relief, like Buffy with a heavy dose of Todd and the Book of Pure Evil.

I had a Vulcan whose name was T'kela. At Academy, her friends called her Tequila, complete with "One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three T'kela, Floor" jokes when she'd drop someone for whatever reason. She never got the joke.
(I mean, as long as we're sharing ST game pun stories...)
I played the slightly demented assistant chief engineer on a Trek game. He was smitten with the female Vulcan head of security: T'Prynn. Whom he consistently referred to as "Hester".

Babylon 5!

@tek: So....Changeling the Dreaming, then?
Many of her characters are direct lifts of PCs from various and sundry Changeling the Dreaming MU*'s, tabletops, etc. In much the same way her Incryptid series is a lift from various Buffy MU*s and such.

Matrix
To be pedantic, it was 'human body heat plus fusion = electricity', but yeah. Go back to a draft version of Human Mass Computer and there you go.
Technically, humans were told by the machines they were batteries when the first One was chosen/woke folks up. I don't remember confirmation that they were actually used for power, aside from Morpheus' line.

... fuck space systems.
I will only fuck the fun ones, as reward for being fun. HSpace in particular.

... lacks [...] the presence of the fae.
I mean... the Fae are there. They just don't venture far from Avalon.

@Rarest-Pepe Give an example?

@Jennkryst
I think that's literally the ONLY time the why comes up, except for Animatrix and the Second Renaissance section. -
Storytelling system sans WoD story and themes. So, I guess Other.

I don't want to spend too much of my time repeating myself ad infinitum before I get to that point.
Sorry to break it to you but the nature of existence is pretty much repeating yourself ad infinitum until you get to that point. See pretty much every career option.
-
@Rarest-Pepe If you are going to ask, or rely on others to provide for you, you may want to cut down on the insulting behaviors. Why would anyone pay attention enough to get your point and think on it, and then act on it when you make it unpleasant to do so?
Since this is a MU* forum, MU* are going to be the most likely product, so what might bea good example of breaking the rules of a typical MU* setup that would be interesting? Might need to be interesting to more than five players, and able to last more than a month too.
-
I didn't say you insulted me, I said you had an insulting attitude. I am fairly sure most folks do not feel being called son by anyone they don't know is a good thing.
I could swear you posted saying you'd like to see a MU* that broke some mols, some rules, etc. See sounds pretty passive, not much like you are going to make one. Nothing wrong with asking questions and making suggestions or just goals known.
Main point being, I get the idea of breaking a rule, such as the idea you get to make your character (see roster games), you get to play a character forever (see games with set times of play like Greatest Generation), or letting players create NPCs and locations on the fly that are supported and potentially added to the game as code, but certainly approved of to refer to as existing in the setting (many games for many years now).
I get the feeling you are looking a little more radical, so got any ideas? 4 of 5 will sounds nuts, but you may come across a gem, either on your own, or by sparking the discussion.

Voted 'other'. Would love to see a no-holds-barred post-apocalyptic RPI with active and engaged staff. (Armageddon is not post-apoc, no matter how it bills itself.)
