@Aria I am getting hit with a lot of stuff from that campaign as well, but in fairness I was a delegate/helped out locally as well, so I assumed they were just blasting out through all of the information/lists they already had. But I am also getting stuff from Harris and O'Rourke. Interestingly not from anyone else but those three, even though I know that all of the campaigns have access to me in votebuilder and other sources!

My opinions on various candidates set completely aside, I'm mostly annoyed that they've found yet another way to spam me with endless requests for money.

@mietze If you haven't been watching the TV series adaptation of 'What We Do in the Shadows'... the first two episodes are worth that hour. The second especially made me think of the stressy crap you've described dealing with re: local orgs, and you have probably more than earned the laugh. (And would likely be able to spot even more things about it that are funny that folks not involved in such things wouldn't notice.)

Vampires at a local community council meeting. No, really. ❤

"Built-in shelf bras" in camisoles are a lie perpetuated by the patriarchy to make your boobs floppy and sore. Change my mind.

When I finally chill out enough and squelch enough of the anxiety to try to catch some sleep...

...and my darling husband just has to chime in with extended bitching about something stupid and petty and could have waited until later if it was worth mention at all right before I try to sleep.

Which of course means I'm anxious as fuck again, and can't sleep.

                            Oh fucking well.

And there's never, NEVER any underwire. I'm sorry, but if I'm big enough to buy your 'XL' camisole, an extra layer of cotton and a band of elastic are NOT going to cover it!

Right?! As someone walking around with boobs in a bra size I once announced to the nice fitting lady at Nordstrom's as "I thought they made that up for porn!", that stupid excuse for a bra is pretty much just half a layer that's going to warp and wrinkle and lay weird. And the elastic band is just an angry red mark waiting to happen. You fuck off, shelf bra. You are the father of lies and deceit.

Shelf bras sort of cut in halfway across my boobs. Because if I try to fit my breasts into them, the rest spill out over the top of the camisole.

Just say no to shelf bras.

When I was about 17? I wore one for an outing with a group of friends. Partly because someone I had a bit of a crush on was going to be there. EVEN THEN I spent more time self-conscious that I was constantly going to have a wardrobe malfunction than able to enjoy myself.

...that crush later dissipated when he decided to regale me with his pony play fetish a few weeks later. >.>
