Critters!
-
Inspired by @Cupcake's lament about her dog not getting enough love, let's post our pets and all smushyface about how cute everyone's critters are.
Here's my dog, Arlo:
-
@tek What's with the blue?
-
I love the blue eyes!
Here are two of my brood enjoying the snow we got today.
-
I flee my two days in San Antonio to return to my routine of hiding in my apartment when not at work with my two catfaces today.

George Winston is the lone survivor. He is Mrs. Faceless's remaining companion as George's sister moved on a couple years ago. He's become an old man and is beginning to let himself go. He's dropping weight and he's just not as spry as he once was. He's still a dapper gentleman of leisure, however. He's also exceptionally gentle with my very hands-on toddler. Two years and a couple months without a single incident! Go George!
When he moves on, then I will finally have a dog once more. I've refrained from taking on a dog because I know that Mrs. Faceless's cats wouldn't handle it well and I'm all about the harmony of my household, so no pooch for me. @Darinelle has been telling me the breed to get and I think @Kanye-Qwest's images of Braum that I've shown to Mrs. Faceless, may have sealed the deal.

This is the (freshly washed) 17 year old fat cat, Biff. He was my fiance's when we got together 16 years ago.
And these are Peanut (chihuahua, 13 years old) and JB (jack russell/dachshund mix, 8 years old).

Addendum to add:
He is 68 lbs of awesome greyhound, 6 years old come January, and originally bred in Ireland for coursing rather than racing. He was sold to a Canadian, most likely intending to race him, and there is some suspicion that he was raced illegally a few times. At some point he got adopted/sold to someone in Vancouver, who kept him out-of-doors all the time, with only an unheated doghouse for shelter. He was rescued by the Vancouver Humane Society before being sent to to the greyhound adoption group located here in WA.

@cupcake I like his green adventure shirt!
-
Meet Tybalt, my Old English Sheepdog. Who is currently napping on his dog bed, right by my feet.
-
@aria Tybalt looks like a fine gentleman in need of a monocle.
-
@faceless I agree! Though he'd probably just sniff it to see if it's food, and then ignore it. Like he does with many things.
At the moment, he's wearing his Christmas bandana. @insomniac7809 refers to it as his 'ascot' in an attempt to compensate for the lack of monocle.

This is Mabel. She's my Tibetan Terrier terror and has just turned one year. She's currently asleep draped across the back of my neck on the sofa. For some reason her breed demands they always get up on things!
And this is Mabel and Gus (my ginger ninja) on squirrel (and pigeon, rabbit, crow, anything-that-moves) garden watch. They make a great good cop/bad cop team.
