My black cat is turning into a striped tabby. I don't even know.

( Yes. I have tried turning the cat off - and then back on again. Cycling this way just makes the cat more HONGRY - which then follows the chorus of chirps, wheezes, and mimed meows. )

I will get a picture of this when I get better light.

Black cats can rust.
I mean, it sounds funny, but

The more time a black cat spends in the sun, it basically bleaches their fur and they start to turn brown. So black cats 'rust.'

@auspice Yours look almost exactly like mine! XD One big fat white/tabby and one skinny black (well dark brown in my case). And yes, the 20 lb asshole wants me to hold and cuddle and scritch his butt all day long. And if I do not, he will go loudly complain to my housemate.

Both my cats want cuddles almost 24/7 but the boy will settle for screaming at me until I let him go out on the balcony.

My 75 lb dog wants cuddles and lap time - all the time. It can be hard to work when he's trying to get into my lap, and his huge noggin is between me and the screen.

I got a new kitten just before Christmas. Unfortunately he came with awful diarrohea and I was for a few days unsure he would make it, I am also down about (translates) $500 in vet bills whilst awaiting test results. But? He is super cute and super affectionate, he basically purrs the moment you touch him and will immediately climb into anyone's lap.

Eventually he made friends with Artemis, though she does find him annoying when he goes into Zoom Mode and desires endless play.

Also he loves to climb into my jacket and purr himself to sleep.

I know owning a horse is an immense, absolutely ridiculous and indulgent privilege. My inner pragmatist tries to convince me to sell him pretty much every day. But he's the reason I bother existing day to day, and the reason I can picture myself in any sort of future. I'm obsessed with this beast.
