      Guanfacine(sp?)

      That is correct unless you meant you take the generic form of a snot-loosening pill. Probably not.

        @mietze I take Wellbutrin, because they were trying to find a one shot with depression and ADHD.

        At first, it was like 'whoa.' - I only had 2 thoughts at a time instead of six. But at almost a year in, it's already lost some of it's efficacy. Sooooo I dunno what to do .

          I was put on wellbutrin for depression.
          It's actually been kind of an issue when it comes to getting ADHD treatment (when I had insurance and all) because I'd repeatedly get told 'Oh, wellbutrin sometimes helps with that. Just give it time.'

          IS FOUR YEARS ENOUGH TIME PEOPLE?!

            Man, I feel so personally called out by this.

              @Derp Well, as I haven't had anyone come over for sex in quite some time (because I'm a fucking hermit), my method: Wait until it irritates the fuck out of you, then overdo it and throw all sorts of shit away you'll need a week in the future.

                @mietze I am personally a big fan of Bupropion. And Sertraline.

                But really, y'all

                Anti-depressants are so not a big deal!

                  @Cupcake Truth.

                  And honestly, I like any kind of med that works for me for a good long while and makes me feel like a human bean.

                    It's insurance on the West Coast, I had it when I lived there a million years ago.

                    Also thank you everyone. I'm not anti-medicine, I just don't like it. So I'm trying to figure out how I know it's time. It's so hard (maybe that's just me) but I've had this un-diagnosed for so long that I think the 'issues' are just normal behavior, etc. So thank you.

                      @faraday

                      So I watched all these videos. I forgot you/someone had directed me before. I had them bookmarked and just didn't circle back (irony). So I played a game on my phone, while watching them all.... then I went back between wanting to cry, feeling called out, and being like OMG.. it's.. normal?!

                      Then I did the 'through your child's eyes' thing for attention disorders. It was like being back in school. I could feel all the stress and all the yep this. --- I may have chuckled at the college degree thing too. Where I barely have my associates, but I have like 600 level+ psych classes because I was interested in it.

                      So um... thank you.

                          It's more of an all-encompassing HMO to be fair. Doctors, Pharmacy, ETC all wrapped up into one package.

                            Yeah, everything is 'in house' which is really convenient buuut they have these company wide corporate rules and hoops and nonsense, I can only pick their doctors etc.

                                      @Wretched The making sounds, humming, narrating. - I STILL DO THIS, all the FREAKING time. But when it's the worst? When I have to do training over Zoom for new people on the team.

                                      Or at least I keep noticing it then.

                                          Yeah, same. I never thought of myself as hyperactive, until I realized that all of these inward hyperactive behaviors still count.
