Transformers: Lost and Found MUX is a new Transformers roleplaying game based in the IDW canon following The Death of Optimus Prime leading into Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye.
We're currently in Alpha testing, which means that we're open for players and RP, but are still setting up all of our coded systems. We're excited to be able to include combat code from or inspired by FiranMUX, with kind permission from the game's owners.

So did the Trial of Megatron take place in your game? Because as awesome as that is, the Cons are in a WEIRD place right now, since all of their potential leaders have either renounced the spot or are dead. I think the only one who's neither is Overlord, who got... fired into a sun or something?
I actually really like where it's going, because even a four million year-long war has to end SOMETIME. And when you've been fighting for that long, how the heck do you build a peace?

I agree. The cons are in a weird place right now (but it's a pretty awesome place, particularly with the combiner war setup), and they do have a couple of leader types (Galvatron namely, but also Deathsaurus and potentially Tarn) that could come to the fore if it were set after Trial of Megatron.Honestly, I like this, though.

@Bobotron Some of my favorites are dead at the moment. I mean, I love Shockwave. And I highly doubt most people would be willing to play Starscream's impending INCREDIBLE fall. He can't not be treacherous, and it's going to cost him everything. They have to make him sympathetic, or heroic, or other things Starscream's not.
My favorite moment of Megatron's trial was when he was all set to plead guilty and walk to his death -- and then he heard Starscream open his mouth.
'You know what? I think I'm going to fight to stay alive. Why? Because fuck Starscream!'

I do find it interesting how Megatron is being written as sort of a Che Guevara with a fusion gun who lost sight of his ideals, and is trying to find them again. He's unusually candid. I liked his line about not thinking you mean what you say, then realizing you do--at least at the time.
I also think that in as much as Transformers can pair-bond he has a thing for Optimus. Sort of an 'Enemy Mine' deal.
Starscream on the other hand is being written as a complete asshole. And I love it. Who do you think Rattrap is really working for? My money's on Optimus, but you can't take anything for granted with the current crop of writers.

I know. The fact of the matter, as someone who has played a couple of incarnations of Optimus Prime on MU*s and has seen some solid Megatron play, that was the method to his madness that caught me off-guard. The whole visceral speech that led him to that realization was something that I felt was stupendously appropriate to Megatron as he's been developed for IDW and some other versions in comics, and it was wonderful to see a new facet of a beloved enemy.That it led to him stuck on a starship with Rodimus and that crazy bunch, of all people, just adds to the fun of the situation (after all, Megatron only has so much patience, y'know).

I wouldn't mind seeing Overlord and Galvatron running the hard-line Decepticon forces, and hating one another's guts the entire time. Overlord's got some fantastic swish.
And there's maybe... six transformers I can think of who're still alive who could stand up to him. Megatron, Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Grimlock, Kup (you know he could), Galvatron...

Considering Galvatron's level of hardliner methodology when he went to Earth and all that stuff happened (which I'm waiting to see more of), it fits. That would be slightly terrifying, an Overlord-Deathsaurus-Galvatron triumvirate of Decepticon hardline, with Tarn as the odd-man out with his own methodology.
Overlord's always been one of my favorite TFs design-wise, and his writing for IDW has been quite good; I still will have a soft spot for Godmaster Overlord, but... this one is good, particularly during the Wreckers stuff, his goals and buildup were pretty awesome.

Every antagonist faction needs its Sick Bastard, and Overlord was a particularly strong counterweight to Shockwave in that department, since both filled the role in completely different ways.
I disagree with you about Shockwave, by the way. I don't particularly like his origin story in IDW-verse, though I won't deny it has a ton of pathos.
When he walked out of the Space Bridge in TF: Prime, and Starscream shat out his metaphorical heart, I jumped up out of my chair.

I think you misunderstood. By 'backstabber' I meant Starscream.I have just always felt Shockwave was superfluous, particularly in the old G1 series, especially when presented as a leadership-type character. I found his projects in IDW pretty interesting though, and his story arc was intriguing enough. I should watch Prime, I've heard more or less nothing but good things about it.

The cast is maybe too small. That's my only negative critique of it.
I actually think he filled out the Decepticon high command perfectly.

Whoa hey, replies! Hi guys!
So Megatron's trial hasn't happened, no. We're set right at the start of the MTMTE timeline and have diverged into our own AU from launch. If Megatron's trial happens, it'll be way down the line, and who knows if it will. We think the best way to deal with continuing canon is to pick a point of divergence and then run with it. We'll reserve the right to take inspiration from later stuff, obviously, but we won't be beholden to it.
What we DID do is try to develop a divergence that would allow for more Cons on board. Soundwave is kind of an idealist hippie in IDW canon, and of course utterly loyal to Megatron (in EVERY canon), so what we've done is had him join the Lost Light crew with a contingent of Decepticons, partly to help with the search for the Knights of Cybetrtron to save the planet and stuff, partly to also search for Megatron, who by canon is totally AWOL/possibly dead at the moment. We wanted to allow for a greater diversity of characters to an already great crew.
And Overlord is -- well. He's the same place he was in the comics.
The Cons are definitely in a weird place, though, even before Megatron's trial. Obviously sticking Autobots and Decepticons on a ship together with a commonish cause is a recipe for a lot of tension.
As for the TS question -- no, we're pretty much of the opinion that the canon has firmly suggested Cybertronians are asexual romantics. (WIth potential for asexual aromantics, probably, but certainly plenty have romantic relationships.)

I think about the only time I've seen that aspect of Starscream even be mentioned (at least in G1) was when Skyfire was introduced early on in the cartoon (MAYBE with his being the "creator" of the G1 incarnation of the Combaticons in the cartoon as well, but that's the only other potential example I can think of offhand). In many ways, it's been all but ignored otherwise (though High Moon's Transformers: War for Cybertron seemed to pay some lip service to it as well).
