RL things I love

I'm going to take a shower, because I love showers, and I just realized I haven't showered in three days because I spent literally the entire time writing a MU document.

We can start a date Thenomain thread -- have I done this? I feel like I have done this in life. If so, did it work?
It would be like a "date a monkey" thread.
Actually, a "date a monkey" thread might be kind of funny.
-
Wait...
Are you a MONKEY?!
I don't want to date a monkey but I want to make your wear a little hat.

That's nasty. Shower more often.
-
@Coin I shower all the time, but I got hyper focused on a project.

Once I started biking to and from work every day I started showering twice a day, even in winter. SUPAHKLEEN.

I do it out of habit: once in the morning, once in the evening.
Also, I am an anthropomorphic feline.
You're welcome.

So you're saying you spend your mornings and evenings licking yourself.

And this is why I'm only on during business hours EST.
You're welcome.

Here you go, tough guy.

There you go, just let it all out.

That moment when you are vindicated/exonerated from the accusations of causing a huge business impact for a client... by the client's own people supporting what you said was the cause of the issue (their systems). I have been so stressed out because of this.
-
@Rook But then your employer still looks upon you with shifty, questioning eyes despite the fact.
I've gotten that.
-
@golgoth
Actually, my boss(es) have been awesome during this. Supportive and in agreement with me, thankfully. But pointing out what failed to a client who has a corporate culture of CYA and back-stabbing is a very delicate operation to undertake. Luckily, I've been in a company like that and somewhat know how to navigate the waters. -
My earlier work anger has been made up for by receiving a bug from a user.
Apparently, for the Swedish version of the game client... in the 'license agreement,' it simply says:
'Licensavtalet ska placeras här.'
This translates to: 'The license agreement shall be placed here.'
This is probably my favorite bug report to have submitted, to date, guys.

While I appreciate the artist who created the Bull might not have done so to glorify bankers or the Stock Market. I had no idea of the statues origins until reading this thread.
I can't see the statute as anything but glorifying a rising market mainly because using Bull Market to describe a rising market predates the NYSE, it predates the American revolution dating back to 1600s London. (Edit to Correct Further digging found a more reliable source than the first that places the first usage in 1714 either way still pre Am Rev. )
I do find the artists ideas on it interesting and laudable but even knowing that if I see a bull depicted near a stock market my thoughts would be rising market. -
Tattoo!!
I got my first one tonight and my sister got one too. This is super huge as we haven't been close for so many years. It was her first one and we got the same thing (but altered colors) and the same location.
Also, the pain wasn't as bad as I thought.
