RL things I love

@Ganymede What shocks me is goats. Man! On Crete I've seen goats walk up places where I can swear the slope is basically vertical to the ground. No shits given, these fuckers just go up there like it's a nice stroll.
They can't eat you alive if they decide to, though. I dunno, maybe they just haven't decided to yet because otherwise they are badass.

Dude, check out this video, and tell me if you want to go waltzing around the mountains.
-
Wow. I like how he (she?) stopped in mid-hunt for some kitty things. "Let's lay down on my back and stretch while rubbing this stupid collar on the ground before I go cut a bitch".
-
@Ganymede That is easily one of the most amazing predators ever. I love leopards.
-
And this is why Bastet were always more popular than any incarnation of Werewolf.
Also not having to rely on a pack, but lots this too.
-
I played Corax.
Also I am loving my knitting with scales project.
-
@HelloRaptor I thought it was because cats are sluts.
-
As someone who enjoys playing Bastet when he can find a place to do it, they're not just sluts:
They're also jerks.
Imagine those guys, but with sorcery and agg-dealing claws.
-
I liked Ratkin and Nagah and Ajaba the best.
But if you really wanted a reason to run around trying to fuck everybody, you wanted to play a Rokea. Weresharks, in the Breedbook, are specifically said to function on a "eat, breed, survive" schedule, and the book even mentions that when Rokea take human form, they're typically horny 24/7 and want to bannnnnnnnnnnng.

I was (and am) such a sucker for Nagah. Nagah ftw, people. >>

Emotionally distant ninja assassins with scales and portable Umbral dens. What's not to love?
-
They aren't cute and fuzzy like Bastet.
Now I want to make a Khan named "Hobbes."

I wanted to make a Sin-Eater Prey named Calvin whose Geist appeared as an anthropomorphic tiger who Calvin just resignedly called Hobbes.

@Coin If you do this you need to find a way to include the transmogrifier.

Don't Sin-Eaters have a talisman thing that uses their power system?
Phantasmal Caul, right?
Those two things are absolutely different?
Keystone is what links them to their Geist.
Phantasmal Caul is a specific Key + Manifestation combination that lets you do minor shapeshifting and then some more esoteric, eldritch shapeshifting that drives people insane.
-
@Coin I know very, very little about Geists. I can count on one appendage the number of times I played one but it wasn't within the last two years.

Sin-Eater is the PC. Geist is the special ghost they're bound to.
This post has been made by your friendly pedantic former Geist-sphere staffer with a peeve. Why the fuck didn't White Wolf call the damn game "Sin-Eater" to begin with?

@Arkandel Because WW is fucking stupid when it comes to their naming convention. They mix Greek, Latin, and French words up into a single lexicon, because the game designed for Americans to play tragic-goth trenchcoat holders needs shit like that.

And nobody in America gives a fuck since our language is like Jack the Ripper to all you foreign whore-languages.
We do however give a fuck when they don't stick to <Creature Type>: The <Thing About Creature Type>. Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, Mage: The Awakening, Promethean: The Created. Even Changeling: The Lost.
But no, Geist has to be ass backwards, because fuck Geist.
