RL things I love

  • @mietze I'm fairly sure there's still parental oversight, but from sixteen to eighteen it's much more... lax? I don't know, I haven't done much banking out here.

  • I cannot tell you how many tabs I have open for Dragon Age Pintrest posts, but I can show you my favorite.

Also, I have at least 30 other images open right now.

  • @Thenomain

    You are such a nerd.

(because of course Anders wears socks with sandals)

  • @Thenomain Should just copy and past Sebastian into every few DA2 images you can find. Since that's what Bioware did.

    Fixed.

    I'm still fucking bitter.

    @mietze

This is just solid parenting. I'm totally cheering you on from this corner of the internet.

I didn’t get any of the DLCs for Dragon Age 2 because it, you know, sucked.

So instead, here is Modern Day Cassandra. This is the kind of Mush I want to play in.

To all the mean customers today, fuck you, I've got my rainbow unicorn tumbler at my station today and am cute and caffeinated.

    Sparkling Yerba Mate.
I never would have thought to try it, but a coworker shared some with me yesterday (Lemon Lime flavor) and today I bought one after work (Raspberry).

These things are fucking delicious. Y'all can have your LaCroix and shit. I'mma drink this.

I would be down for some blackberry and peach.

Also, I can't remember where I saw this but it still makes me laugh so here it goes again:

  • One of my coworkers keeps kosher.
We sit near the 'specialty' team (think curated items: alcohol, cheeses, high-end chocolates...) and they often put out various snacks for the area.

They usually try to have at least one kosher item out for him. And I've often seen 'deliveries' left on his desk of drinks, snacks, etc. that are kosher.

I know there's people who dislike Whole Foods (and trust me, the opinion of Amazon here is p low; long-time employees aren't happy about the new ownership), but the camaraderie in this place is stellar. I'm sad I'm just a short-term contractor.

  • Pitcrew

@Auspice I remember when a co-worker helped me find out how to know if something was kosher, since he kept it. He totally was eager to tell me reese's peanut butter cups were Kosher.

    Oreos are vegan. :D

I want to know where you can get non-organic cane sugar. Also LaCroix sounds seriously unhealthy, drinking pure water fucks up your salt and mineral balance, it's the kind of thing that leads to water poisoning.

Back to school night. Seeing all the new faces, getting hugs from your kids you had before, watching parents faces transform from worry to confidence... I just love it all.

And they are SO TINY. One of my newest babies only comes up to my hip and hid behind his mom most of the night!

  • So this recent X-Men reveal is insane, but I love it...

    ***=XmenSpoilers***

    click to show

She dies. She is reborn as her into her mother on the same day and year of her birth, but with full knowledge of her previous lives.

So after living through 9 lives of trying things one way or another, she is now on her 10th life and has decided to allow Xavier to read her mind, gathering the knowledge of her experiences across 9 different lifetimes, to apply to dangers of mutantkind-on-forward.

It's zany, but it's a game changer that I approve of.
