@Vorpal I am sorry man. There are no words. My condolences.
-
@Vorpal I'm sorry.
-
@Vorpal So sorry for your loss, I literally can't even imagine. I'm glad you were able to be there and let her see you again before she passed, those small comforts are all that matter in the end.
-
Sharing my condolences, as others have. I'm happy for you in that you got to see her, but I am very sad for you that it had to happen in the first place.
-
@vorpal Take care of yourself and your family, and let your friends and family take care of you.
-
Thanks everybody. I'm not entirely sure how I'm doing. But thanks.
-
I am so very sorry for your loss. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

My RL Peeve -- when you have literally hundreds of friends, and are stuck in a fairly closeby city because a vehicle died, and somehow, miraculously, none of them are available to come and get you so that you can go the fuck home until you can find a way to repair said vehicle, even when offered substantial sums of money.
What the fuck is everyone doing on a Wednesday night?
-
In today's lesson @Derp learns the difference between "friends" and "acquaintances who use the word 'friend' too loosely".
-
I have maybe fifteen friends and literally hundreds of people I'm friendly with. That's an important distinction. Still, I've been there dude, that blows.
-
Wow.
-
-
@Auspice It also might not be, y'know, a choice. Not everyone can afford a nice house with a big yard.
-
Not to mention, 'because you like the beach' is probably less a factor than 'close to work'. I mean yeesh.
-
Not like you can run around or play on a beach.
People may have fainting spells, but kids raised around the water can manage to not drown and play all day there.
-
That moment you have such election fatigue that you see the name 'Crumpton' pass by in some local race in the incoming results, and your brain instantly goes:
Oh fuck no, they have MERGED. All hail our hermaphroditic bad hair orange tan pantsuit-wearing self-loathing mecha overlord!?
-
You think it's bad for you, how 'bout we poor fuckers who have to either watch your insane electoral gibbering pass by our social media feeds or install specific software just to filter it out!?
And even THEN fuckers like Google and Wikipedia and Yahoo and too many other miscreants to count send emails or put huge blaring pop-up signs in their pages that remind you to go and vote and offer to tell you where your voting station is. (Apparently my voting station is the USPS...)
Yes. FUCKING GOOGLE. The people who
stealcollect all the information they can about you down to your sock size. Those people can't seem to fucking figure out that a Canadian citizen living in China can't vote in an American election and offer to help.So you think you're tired of your circus freak show masquerading as democracy? WALK A MILE IN A NON-AMERICAN'S SHOES!

People all think I'm kidding that I stopped looking at all social media in January, and won't look at it again until February.
I'm not.

Yeah, that's it sister. Laugh at my pain.

Does watching election shit tonight count as anger?
Or maybe it's anger replacing fear.
I need to go back to Skyrim.
