I'm not sure if you'll have access to all of those (I get them through the University) but you should be able to see a few. A quote from my personal hardcover library, "Population, Ecology, and Social Evolution," edited by Steven Polgar: "There is little doubt that world population will continue to increase so long as population growth is necessary to the capitalist modes of production." (p. 260, author James C Faris). Check the book out, you can probably buy it on Google Books if you're so inclined.
Add to that, you can pick up almost anything by Emile Durkheim to expound on it. "The Division of Labor in Society," is my preference.
I will say that overpopulation is doing a fucking number on the environment.

However, for population growth and capitalism, I'd use someone far more current and with some quantitative chops. Also, my brief look at the grab bag of sources your listed indicates that while many of them say that population growth was necessary for the foundation of capitalism, none of them say that it is necessary for the continuance of capitalism or even talk much about it at all in terms of current growth. Perhaps you could post some specific links? (I know you quoted Faris, but that's 1975 and, really, someone who makes so basic and Marxist an error as to call feudalism a "mode of production" when production was an epiphenomenon of the social institution of feudalism is pretty suspect.)

@Misadventure Point! I have to repeat the whole thing in one week so I have a week to find a boy to con into this whole process. I don't want to do the laser part either. I just want to be all, here you do this while I play video games. Seems legit.
Shaving is one of those things that gets easier the more you do it. Also, you CANNOT use shitty $2 razors. You -will- cut yourself all up. Splurge, get the nicer razor, and shave in the shower.
I forget to shave, and then my beard grows horribly and not at all well, so I remember, and it's a process. I might eventually splurge for an electric hair clipper that I can just use for that daily five-o-clock shadow that I suspect won't get me as laid as the media purports.
I've been waxing for like 15 years because my skin is sensitive. I got good razors I think. Maybe I'll pay more attention next time I buy them. I think the whole process takes like 3-6 months with the laser.

Waxing is too painful for me to want do it every 4-6 weeks or whatever. And I'm not sure what the laser hair removal would do to my tattoos, so I stick to shaving. I generally use the 4 blade Venus, but I've actually been looking into trying a guy's razor. I want to see if it works a little better for being meant to be used on faces, because yes, sensitive skin.

Dude or Dudette, I highly recommend that you switch to a safety razor instead of any disposable.
The blades can be bought in 100-pks, which will last you almost a year at two blades a week. I have a rough, tough beard so that is about my rate. A 'case' of 10 10-blade packs will run you about, oh, $20. That is, what, two disposable razors or about two packs of 5 blade replacements?
On top of this, the shave is so much more clean and comfortable. I get almost zero razor burn with a safety razor.

I know it is a large chunk to bite off to start up, but only the shaving cream and blades will need replenished over time. If you get a good razor, it will be something you can pass on to your offspring.
A great place to shop is Amazon. You will get their suggested 3-item bundle pack suggestions, and you can get the razor, a pack of blades and the brush for about $50. Since you likely already have a shaving foam or gel, you can start with that, until you can get a good cream-based lathering item. I cannot recommend Art of Shaving products highly enough. Their shave creams are very good.

@ThatOneDude Eh.... not sure what they offer, but my experience from military to today suggests that shaving cream and blades are one area that you should not suffer poor quality to save a few bucks.
Saving two bucks here and there, and having your (for Dudes) neckline look like you shaved with a yard trimmer is not a good compromise, especially professionally.
Buy quality, or you will end up replacing it later anyway.
EDIT: After seeing your URL, I still don't recommend disposables. They are too fat (IMNSHO) to do a good job. One blade is all you need, not 5, not 10.
@Rook IDK man, I'm half Persian so if I don't shave every day to every other day I look like I just stepped out of a cave in Afghanistan so I know how it is to have to shave all the time. I switched from canned shaving cream to real shaving cream and its been like magic... I'm gonna test out the shave club and I'll let you know how it goes. I love the commercial

This isn't to say that population growth is a facet of the growth of a capitalist economy, but it presumes a great number of things. There's a reason why Adam Smith didn't consider it in his original writings, and why Malthus' writings have been consistently opposed and proved incorrect.
Since you clearly have an understanding of economics, consider the following. What is the effect of technology and distribution on an population-growth-to-resources model? Modern theorists are demonstrating that distribution and the acceleration of production through technology are far greater influences on post-industrial economies than population growth. Hence, the focus of modern economic policies has been to address distribution and technology issues.
Capital growth is a more important indicator of economic success than labor alone. Capital growth is best predicted by wealth distribution in a population, as well as competition.
So, I politely disagree. But your sources are interesting.
