I ran my first PrP tonight and it was so much fun to do and players had fun to I think and were so patient with me learning the ropes. I
everyone involved, all the yay. -
I've been thinking about running PrPs for Blackram and then for random groups when I have more experience but for some reason I get SO NERVOUS AHHHHHHHH.
I'm gonna do it someday, I just...need a minute

When you don't get a huge turnout for an event but the people that do show up are super enthusiastic and it all goes exactly according to plan!

Haha, I was scrambling for prizes like twenty minutes before it started and thought I came up with shitty last minute things. But everyone loved them! I was most shocked that the book I threw together, which I was certain would be one of those things where someone just ended up with it rather than picking it, was chosen by the second place person. Whew!

Had a thought today.
If I were still MUing, right now, I would be tempted to make a series of Vin Diesel PB'd characters, but with very non-Diesel jobs (like: WAFFLE CHEF or BARISTA) who speaks entirely in hardcore xXx/Riddickisms
Example:
"Hey there tough guy. Look at those arms! I bet you're one of those coffee-all-black kinda guys."
"No, I take mine with espresso and sugar."
"OHHHHH you're a sweet kinda g-"
"-cuz when you slow down...you die."
OR...
"Holy shit! How crazy was that?!?!? Your robot buddy just saved our lives!!!"
"He wasn't my robot buddy."
"Seriously? It just sacrificed itself. I'm sure that deserves at least a little-"
"That robot was my brother."
"Brother? Maybe that's a stretch."
BARISTA DEREK GRAVES RELEASES A DOVE INTO THE SKY. HE KISSES HIS FINGERS AND POINTS SKYWARD.
"Warm the battlefield for me, brother. Backup's on its way."

- "This waffle's like me...forged in iron."
- "One time I got an Amazon delivery. God laughed at me and didn't send me one I could fight to the death beside."
- "Dentist said that blood I taste is from an infection. He's wrong. All I can ever taste is blood."

Making it through my first scene in like two years... and it was completely by accident, as I was trying to sneak out to look around at the map and just blundered right into gasp PEOPLE!
I loved every minute of it and finally remember why I stuck with this hobby all those years before.
/sings, "Merry Christmas to me... Merry Christmas TO me... Merry Christmas to Ca-aaaake... Merry Christmas to me."

I am SO DAMN HAPPY your experience is going well. I was really sure you were going to be a fit, and I was completely right. Everybody is as happy to have you as you are to be there, I promise. I heard lots of really good things.

Instead of flaming depression, I'm going to say I love my crew for helping me not do anything stupid and harmful, and holding me up through one of the worst crashes I've had for a while!
