Make a thing on a game.
Walk away from that game.
Come back to the game literally years later and see that not only is the thing I made still there, but that people are actually doing stuff with it, enjoying it, customising it, and making it their own.
God. My heart.

Scenes that tear out your heart and put it back in again, resulting in an excellent mess to try and clear up the day after.
I think that's also the first time that particular character has ever espoused what he believes to be his true place in the world so completely.

Making that hard decision to put down a character you love... and having that decision pay off in spades. I love it when everything just clicks.

Having a character I play added as a part of a chargen's relationships. I signed up for the possibility months ago, but it's still like - hey you, we trust you with our new person! It gives me good feels in a time when good feels are in short supply
