You must be really bored, @Ghost. A lot of this thread was people lambasting @GirlCalledBlu and @Seraphim73 for not just running a sandbox game, and now that they seemingly are running a sandbox, there's still a bunch of hate.
I know a handful of players who played at the 100 who give zero fucks that the Fifth World re-opened. Some of them are bummed out that the 100 closed. Some aren't. None of them have any interest in playing at the Fifth World.
For someone who didn't play at the 100, though, you're awfully keen to talk about a cut or whatever. If people who played at the 100 are upset by these recent events and their timing, they certainly can express that discontent on their own accord. They don't need a player who never played there to take up the mantle for them. I mean, seriously, when has any player ever needed someone to bitch on their behalf? Especially someone who isn't directly involved.

I did play for a brief time on The Fifth Wave which, IIRC, was run by the same people, but time zones interfered with any hope of meaningful RP so I dropped it. I don't know the game runners of any of these games from @Ganymede.What I do know is this: the people whining about The 100 right now are making me think that they, not the people who run the various aforementioned games, are fucking morons. Or fucking obsessed. Or fucking obsessed morons. Or fucking moronic obsessives. Or some other such similarly denigrating set of adjectives and descriptive nouns. If the game runners of The 100, The Fifth World, and (maybe) The Fifth Wave are bad people (again, I have no opinion either way since I've never knowingly interacted with any of them) their purported badness is being grossly outweighed by the fucking idiocy of their critics.
If you have legit beefs, I'd suggest perhaps dialing it back a notch or ten thousand and trying not to come across as a bunch of thundering twats best left in the bozo bin, m'kay?

Hey, I have an opinion and this is an internet forum. As someone who partakes in and enjoys the hobby, on this forum, I'm well within my right to think that these two people hurt the hobby.
Blah blah BUTTHURT blah blah troll bleeding vagina. I think these guys suck. No amount of speculation as to why I'm posting this or some kind of super regular forum flame defense krewe y'all throw is anything we haven't seen twice a week on this damn board.

@WTFE @GirlCalledBlu and I never actually played on The Fifth Wave, let alone staffed (I don't know that I'd ever heard of it, in fact). We did run The 100, The Fifth World, and staffed on a couple of Star Wars and Wheel of Time games between us back in the day.

Move on with life. Yet you're the person still bringing it up. We get it For someone who supposedly hates these two people so much to the point of borderline obsession, it's likely you probably wiki-stalked them, because making TFW active as a private, invite-only game with only a small handful of people isn't something people would know. Unless you were trying really hard to keep tabs on people because you hate with them an obsessive passion of a thousand burning suns.
And this whole "I'm doing it for the players" thing is bullshit. You're doing it to make them look bad in whatever way or capacity is manageable. You're doing it for you, so you can revel in 'how right you are' and feel vindicated through it, so you can drop the altruism and gif-laden persecution complex.
But I guess we all need our hills to die on.

It's official: I have no fucking idea who these two are. I only know that their critics sound unhinged and delusional. The Fifth Wave, closing as of this week after 14-18 months of continuity, is not ran by the same folks as this recent incarnation of The 100 or Fifth World, for the record. If they had a prior Fifth Wave, I am not privy to this knowledge, just the recent Fifth Wave is/was ran by other individuals.
