@greenflashlight He ages like Tom Cruise -- he's 10 this year!

Fail to do the laundry for all of it.
-
Start a low-intensity freakout when you're down to just your stuntderwear.
-
Do all the laundry ever, kick back in a giant fort of clean clothes that will sit there until your next LIF, which will probably be about clutter strangulation, though mine was about an incoming doctor call BEING TEN MINUTES LATE.
Crisis-only dopamine?

Most evenings, I'm told in no uncertain terms that I have to multitask.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
@Wretched said in Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.:
Last night I found out an old friend died. I havent spoken to or even seen him in ~15 years. We weren't even that close. Except for the fact that in the early months of the year 2000's, when I was near homeless, and he was just a stranger from a LARP group, he took me into his household with his Wife, and Child, and other friends. Through that I met a man who was one of the very few I invited to my wedding.
R.I.P. Vernon you glorious man, incredible DM and steampunk renfaire weirdo. There was much about you I aspire to be.
Vernon and I maintained our friendship until the last -- our decades-old gaming group was wondering where he was for our Thursday night Champions game.
He truly lived up to every kind remembrance left in his passing.

RE: RL Sads
Thanks, folks. I wasn't sure how this would hit me. We're not getting younger, and the abundance of gifts we receive in our early lives spoils us for the truth of the rest of it; every banquet must end
The swings have been pretty brutal. I'm not sure if I'll step away from MU again, or try to continue my nudge back into the hobby. I don't want to be pushing into it for the wrong reasons, but it might help to take my mind to other places for a bit.

RE: RL Sads
When you lose a friend of more than a quarter century to a very sudden death. We had just hung out on Monday, and he died during our scheduled event last night.
Honestly, amongst the group of close friends and peers, I was sure I would be the first to go. There's a lot to unpack now, and it's going to take time.

RE: Good TV
@Auspice The general is my favorite character in like ever. I want to bear her children.

RE: The Savage Skies
@Rinel I would think that Germans getting the hell out of there would make a great deal of sense.

Right in the middle of curfew and national guard on the ground in my city, I DO NOT NEED my fucking home alarm to sound off at 3:30 in the morning. And every 90 seconds. And the asshole security company lying about 7 day availability for support.
I'm livid about the larger situation, but the alarm system thing after the initial heart attack moment is a disgruntlement.

Players from Project Prometheus
Hey all -- looking for players from Project Prometheus.
I'm seeking to reconnect and RP with a great group of people, and not super picky where they might be found right now.
I'm also hoping to find folks from there who shared conversations about starting another MU up along similar lines. I took a stab at it, and I'm finding that I can't carry that sort of project by myself right now.
My primary was Martin. I also played Meyer. Something about M names, I guess.

RE: MUSIC
I have recently found this band:

RE: RL things I love
@Aria I'm pretty sure that'd fly alright in Italy, at least.
