I mean....it's not like we lost him in his prime. He'd been sick a while and I'm glad he's no longer suffering.

But I still, to this day, think of him when I think of Bond. I think of how he loved being Indy's dad so much in the Indiana Jones movies he would've done it again which shows a soul that enjoys fun and levity. He was a great actor and, by all evidence, a great man.

He was one of my favorites for many reasons since I was a child.

The story is great. The horror elements are awesome. And the characters are wonderful. I want to snuggle William he's such a cinnamon roll.

Interviewed for a job this week and it'd be really, really good. It'd be technical writing for a renewable energy company (they build wind farms but they also empower the landowners vs. retaining control/ownership/most of the money like most of the companies building them rn) with a team of writers who are all big geeks (one of the questions in my interview yesterday was 'Who is your favorite fantasy author?' and we went off talking books for a good ten minutes).

The bossman seems to honestly, truly care about the well-being of his team and strikes me as someone I'd really want to work for.

I mean, yes, I need a job -- any job -- but this one would be amazing. They're considering 3 people and have 1, MAYBE 2 spots. So my chances are pretty good, but any well-wishes, prayers, sacrifices to the blood god are welcome.

I'd imagine a large portion of the board is playing. It's become pretty much the single most popular game during the pandemic (largely in part due to ease of entry: free on mobile and easy to learn). There's charts showing it skyrocketing past Fortnite, Minecraft, etc. in downloads.

I'm glad to see it doing so well! I discovered in back in February-ish due to SR_Kaif (UK streamer) and it's been awesome having so many more people to play with.

It sucks. I had to do it a few times earlier this summer when my cat had her emergency surgery. She's a very people-y cat so I knew she'd probably be OK but it's still v stressfu!

But both the emergency clinic and the vet for her follow up visits were very good about keeping me up to date and making sure I knew how things were going. They Get It.

I got her first try! I focused on creativity, smarts, and charm. I'm not sure which two did it but I pulled it off.

Failed my attempt at Damien tho. XD maybe he isn't fun/bold anymore like he was in Prom!

Monster Camp just came out and a friend got it for me. It's just as fun as Monster Prom and some good silliness. Much recommend.

(I am also super pleased I get to pursue Joy finally.)

Finally -- fiiiiiiinally -- had an interview yesterday after almost two months of radio silence on the dozen+ apps I send out each week. And it went really well. I vibed well with the interviewer, he really liked my answers to the questions (btw never been asked if I'm afraid of heights during an interview before but I am here for it).

And he must've felt the same because this morning, less than 24 hours later, the recruiter let me know they want to move on to the 2nd interview. That happens Monday morning and I'm already nervcited.

I'm a touch under the weather today (sinus infection) and needed something light-hearted to watch (been watching a lot of horror and mystery stuff lately). I chose Enola Holmes and I'm really glad I did.

It was fun, it was cute, and man, Millie Bobbie Brown is already an amazing actress. I really look forward to seeing more of her.
