I started watching a new anime called Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi, or 'Cooking in the Afterlife Inn'. It's adorable. 2 episodes in so far, and it's been quite cute. And Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card arc is starting to ramp up.
ETA: Oh, and the next series of Gundam Build started. Gundam Build Divers, which takes the concept of the Gundam Build series (plastic model fighting) and combines it with a VR gaming interface ala SAO. Episode 1 has aired and it's as entertaining as the others.

It's highly dependent. For a couple of the games I was involved with the restart of, it was either 1. due to unfixable issues or 2. the game ended without good resolution, and players were interested in picking up immediately from where they left off.

On Digital Ocean, their CentOS tutorial has a bad log setup; I was digging through the comments and finally someone said 'Oh hey the logs are fubar'. Once I figured out how to get the logs to go somewhere else, I'm in business.

I think that may have been restart #2; the addition of the future grid went smoothly from what I recall as plotstaff at the time. But I moved cities about six months later and it was gone when I was ready to come back to MU*ing after a move-hiatus, so I dunno.

I'm using CentOS7 as a note. So far, no luck. I tried to follow the tutorial on digitalocean's site for it for CentOS and I can get through most of the steps you've provided, which I can tell are just variant commands between CentOS and those.
I get to the end after I've made some symbolic links and reset Apache and it fails out.
I'm going to continue to play around though, particularly since right now I'm trying to make it so a particular subdomain, but not the whole domain (yet) will point to the site.
By the definitions of game restarts here? I was involved in a couple back in the day.
Beast Wars Transmetals, my first MUSH as a director, went through a really rocky starting period. Flaky host, insane psychocoder, and an unstable MUX that kept deleting shit. We closed down for a couple of months and transferred to Penn and then 'restarted'. It went better than expected and ran for a few years once all the kinks got ironed out.
Megaman X MUSH, my second big 'thing' as a director, played through to a certain point and the game languished due to interest and soft-closed. A fresh infusion of Megaman X stuff around the time of X7/X8 being released caused a reboot/resurgence with an advanced timeline and removal fo some things like superfluous factions. It went better than expected, and ran in total for about 4 years. A later attempt to 'reboot' into a further future Megaman Zero-era timeline crushed it completely though.
Transformers: Genesis II, which was to be a reboot/update of the original Transformers Genesis, failed to find traction. And then the host exploded, so...
SuperMUX successfully 'restarted' into Millennium Heroes MUX which changed some things and added a second, separate grid for a Batman Beyond-era DCU. It went over pretty well.
Logging in and out relatively helped, as a note. And maybe stuff just got rebooted 'cause I had a session mismatch error. Will update if I see more errors.
I'm getting some general errors from the site. Icons and text are too small or too large (sometimes throughout the same page), and I have some replies from the last thread I looked at stuck on the bottom of my screen, even when I clicked away from that thread and into this.
The Subs are some of my favorites (but mostly because of the Justice League of Earth/Legion of Super Heroes comics), particularly Stone Boy and Rainbow Girl (especially 'might actuallly channel ALL THE EMOTIONAL SPECTRUM' Rainbow Girl, not 'I am four forms of Kryptonite' Rainbow Girl. ).

And now to figure out how to make mediawiki on it. And then how to gulp import a mediawiki backup....
ETA: So, me knowing enough stuff to get installs going as a baseline, is it possible to drop a couple of different mediawiki instances in there on different directories or things that point? IE: I have hotbmush.com which I want to be a core wiki. But I may have some other site, othersite.com, as a wiki too. Is this feasible?

I installed Penn fresh on digitalocean today. Other than a few hiccups on what to install as far as missing packages, it ran pretty smoothly using CentOS.
