Considering that the NSA records everything we do online, it doesn't matter to me if people spy on me, especially since I do nothing that would invite suspicion.
If you can't do it in public, don't do it at all.

I love to watch someone edit things live. Seeing them edit things twelve times after the fact is great. But sometimes you're not there to see the party, it would be nice to know a post was edited after the fact. Sometimes people edit things so other peoples comments appear out of context, or to hide something they were called out on. Sometimes they think of something clever in rebuttal minutes or hours after their initial lame comment. Other times it's mundane...
So I'm suggesting timestamps or a history like wiki's!
Because as we all know the internet is real serious business.
Ayy.
Edit:
lmao
I actually like the MLP influence. Confession: I was going to suggest we insert Equestria somewhere in the story, but you have kinda already done it!
And I think the idea of Not!Coronans having wings gives them a majestic look that I prefer.
http://musoapbox.net/topic/9/current-games
This is a list of current games. Active, not so sure about that. It's also a very old thread.

Thought: Not Arrendelle 's native population have head borns/antlers ( no magic equal realistic hair colors, some magic gives you brightly colored streaks, Magic magic gives you anime).
Wings are Not Corona domain. People are winged fairy like full sized.
Animal bonding is common ish low level magic across many kingdoms.
Most magic three camps : Control/ Alter/ Sense.
These are good ideas.
I'm not trying to throw you off your track, but now the game has a distinctly My Little Pony vibe, inasmuch as "Horned Race, Winged Race, and Normal Race" goes, that is, if the ponies were human-shaped (anthropomorphic). I am okay with this. You could easily call the Not!Arendelle people Unicorns, and the Not!Corona people Pegasids (this is just a joke, not a suggestion!).
It would be funny if you called the Reichkanzlerin Not!Elsa of the Greater Not!Arendelle Reich Celestia. Don't actually do that, though, that's just another little joke on my part.
I was thinking you could call her Wilhemina Maria-Theresa Buran - her first name being a reference to the German Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II, the chap who ignited World War I, her middle name being a reference to the Germanic noblewoman Maria-Theresa and "Buran" being the Russian word for a blizzard/snowstorm.
'Twould be funny if, at some point in time during the game, someone cut her left hand off, referring to Kaiser Wilhelm's useless left arm.
Her sister Not!Anna could be called Frederica Amalia-Christina Buran. Her first name is a feminization of the Prusso-German Emperor Frederick The Great, and her middle name is yet another reference to a Germanic noblewoman.

I would say the Lioness Empire with the Lion throne (having awesome Queens who wear fake manes to symbolize their power). ( yes Tina Turner hair from the 80s is back).
I am reminded of the Scene in "How to get Away with Murder" Where the leading actress removes her wig and how.. Powerful it is.
She in her normal everyday powerful life as a Lawyer wears the wig to fit in to appear strong and for a lack of a better term "white and powerful" with a standard of beauty that she can't naturally obtain. And it struck me as powerful just then scene of the removal. Queens and Kings wear masks... So a lion mane & mask to represent kingship visually.
Though I think the Leader should have a term like Sacrifice (something wildly not powerful sounding) that fits the idea that one's leader need not be the biggest physical bad ass. I kinda love the of a king physically being not intimidating.
I like the idea of the Star Empire having a female Empress. Not everything needs to be a male-dominated Patriarchal society, and it's a nice reference to the historical African Queen of Sheba. Definitely going to work that in, along with the other regal paraphernalia you have described, such as the symbolic mane. That, too, is refreshingly original and makes a nice change from just wearing a crown, or a circlet.
So, the Bene Gesserit analogue you wanted - I suggested that they should be the central religious order in the Empire. You are invited to work out how this would work, unless you have any alternative ideas that you may have been fermenting in the meantime.

Speaking of which, this is exactly why I think people who say things like "SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL POLICE" are fuccbois.
I support local police all the time. I support them like I would support a drunken, belligerent, gun-toting friend: I point out their problems and encourage them to get help.
Supporting people does not connote blind loyalty. It also means pointing out when they fuck up horribly, so that they learn a lesson.
That's fine and I agree with that. What I'm addressing are the people who support their local police by saying things like "I think they're doing a great job! Nothing is wrong! I see no visible problems with their behavior!"
Those are real things people say.

What about all those scary-ass news stories wherein people are murdered by someone they met off the Internet?
What about all those scary-ass news stories about young black men getting shot by police for no fucking reason?
Such is life in Soviet Russia.
Dah, I mean, the USA.

I really want to make a Silly, lighthearted, Disneyesque Lords And Ladies game of some sort. Maybe you can help.
Of course you can. You can have the Magickal Kindgom of Misteryus, ruled over a family of princesses that are led by Princess Abigaile, or something. Disney doesn't have a stranglehold on ideas -- just shit that directly derives from their shit.
Thank you.
Permission to use EXACTLY THAT IDEA you just suggested? It works perfectly in my frame of "Making Fun Of Lords And Ladies Games" Game.
It'll probably be changed a little, since I'll let @Songtress loose on it, but that is seriously good.

Do people lie on the internet? Do people get preyed on? Absolutely. But I don't think that it's actually true that the majority of people you might make friends with on the internet are more likely to be vastly lying about their identity.
Ack! The grammar!
Shading grants people greater license to conceal or misrepresent the truth. It's easier to lie, so it's probably more likely. That alone does not mean that you should eschew meeting others via the internet.
I mean, people lie in person too. All the time. It happens.
What about all those scary-ass news stories wherein people are murdered by someone they met off the Internet?
See: every Craigslist Murder Story ever.

Give me some legal advice, pwease: Now that our Fantasy World War 2 game is underway, will Disney rape us in the butthole without lube if we also make a normal Frozen game, or nah?
I wouldn't do it. Play it safe. Always. That's why you ought to use lubricant and a condom for buttsex.
Could we make a Not Frozen Game in which there is a Blonde Magical Princess, or is that cutting it a bit close?
I think I know what the answer is, but I'll just put it past you.

Ever since seeing Episode VII, been on a bit of a Star Wars kick. Rematch ed the 2003 Clone Wars animation, still the dopest shit. I couldn't get in to the CGI Clone Wars show. But Star Wars Rebels has been amazing thus far. And an awesome cast with even reprisals from Billy Dee Williams and James Earl freaking Jones.
Hera Syndulla is shmexy.
Zeb is also a total hunk. I'd watch The Hera and Zeb show all day long - couldn't care less about Budget Luke, Budget Obi-wan, and Budget Fem-Boba Fett.

(The Judah Empire, although, this name is so clunky and difficult to remember that I'm thinking of changing it - any ideas?)
Why not just stay with history? This is obviously an alternate Earth setting with Ethiopia (or the equivalent) being a major world power. So just keep their real name: the Aksum Empire? They started as a power back around 100AD. Just make it so they never lost it and continues on to present day.
Fair enough! I was trying not to be intellectual lazy, as they say, but I like this idea.
If @Songtress doesn't have any other suggestions, then that's our choice.

"I'm Deadpool and I am SO RANDOM~! XD LOOK AT ME, I AM WACKY AND RANDOM! SOOOOO RANDOM! [throws sporks at people]"
I love Deadpool, because often this sort of behavior is presented in a way that makes me laugh. Sometimes the content of something isn't what makes it amusing or entertaining, but the presentation of it.
Eh, Rik Mayall and Monty Python have ruined me as far as "RANDOM HUMOR!1" go.
Too bad Rik Mayall isn't alive anymore; he could have played a Deadpool I might have enjoyed.

Intriguing. So where do the Bennett gesseritt/New Sisterhood types and cool Psionic powers come in. Tribal Great mother's who guide their sons and daughters with silk hiding steeling. Sons who are traded and arranged for marriages. Women who war and dance for the dead.
Well, as people were mentioning earlier, the real-life Ethiopian Empire had a powerful central church, and I was thinking that the Space African Empire (The Judah Empire, although, this name is so clunky and difficult to remember that I'm thinking of changing it - any ideas?) would also have a powerful religious order along the same lines, which would be analogous to the Bene Gesserit people.
I really don't have any set-in-stone ideas, so feel free to improvise the way we did with the Arendelle MU*! Please, go right ahead and worldbuild - that lets me figure out what I want to do with the political setup.

True we are kinda asking for it, might be best to drop the official names we could very easily make it not tied particularly to Disney property, it's kinda easy and probably works out better as its own entity then we are not bound by their limits.
Actually give tommorrow evening and I'll start sketching this world that kind of world building is old hat for me. If you wanna see some of my world working efforts I am happy to show them @Cirno.
Take your time, and yes, please do so.
Have you heard of the manga "Footsore Soldiers ~ Witch Vasenka's War"? It's very much like what we're doing here - magical Nazis, magical Allies, and so on.
This is Commander Big Bertha, a SS Division witch-nazi. In our game, I guess she would be a Frost Witch.
Her division is called the Brothers Grimm Division, but I'll just let her explain herself.
I have no intentions of making our game like this, but I thought you would be amused by the similarities. Also, 'Witch Vasenka's War' plays the theme much straighter than we're doing, and, unlike in our game, the German Reich is still very recognizably a genocidal regime. This manga is super-harsh and has shots of little kids getting killed by German soldiers, which doesn't -quite- mesh with what we're doing.
From what I gather, our game is more like Legend of the Galactic Heroes, or Gundam, wherein the enemies are Nazi-like, but not 1:1 replications of the Nazi regime - inasmuch as genocide and torture go, anyway.

You guys are seriously begging for Disney to rear its ugly head.
Being as you're a lawyer, this is advice I will take very seriously.
Give me some legal advice, pwease: Now that our Fantasy World War 2 game is underway, will Disney rape us in the butthole without lube if we also make a normal Frozen game, or nah?
I'll paypal you some money for this legal advisory notice, if you want.
Just popping in to say I'm ahead of you guys by an inch: those reasons are exactly why I chose the imagery and symbols of the Ethiopian Empire. You're all doing a bang-up job nonetheless - I'm tickled pink that you picked up on why I chose these particular elements. You've hit the nail on the head.
As you can see, this is a very tightly constructed idea I've put forth, here. You're all making me want to publish a roleplaying game completely independent of FS, based on what we've built in this thread. I wonder if I could get it Kickstarted?
I'll return to this thread later; I've got a few loose ends to tie up in the Arendelle MU* thread and must finish working that out first before I address everyone's concerns here.
