Here's the real deal:
Even if there is a situation in which you can adequately justify explicit sexual interplay (i.e. not just bartop seduction or flirty conversation) between a PC and an NPC (putting aside whether you can or can't), unless what you're running is a small, private game in which everyone is explicitly okay with that, FTB is in everyone's best interest. It's easy not to do it and it will save you and everyone else tons of headaches. That's just the truth.

Do you mean things like rape RP? In general, rape RP is consensual between the players and the point is the actual act and not so much the upheaval that happens after, so it's kept private, through whatever sort of reasoning or justifying or means, and no one else is informed.
IME, whenever it does turn into a huge to-do is when they were both into it and then for some reason there was an OOC falling out so one party goes and says "they raped me" IC.
I mean. Sucks that it's OOC motivated but also don't play a rapist if you don't want to deal with the possible consequences.

How do these conversations take place? How do you make sure the other person is okay OOC?
While we're on the topic, how (and if) do you keep them from getting out of closed door situations and reaching the grid?
Again, if you're not comfortable sharing your thoughts please don't feel pressured to do so.
I assume that sort of thing just happens once by chance and then if you have the inclination to try something similar again you're going to go pitch it to someone whom you know has been willing in the past.
That, or people just ask. Like, I have been propositioned like, "hey, if it's not your thing, no worries, but I'm looking for someone to play my brother-slash-fuckbuddy, would you be interested?"
There's also just sometimes when you stumble into that sort of family dynamic and you kind of just either choose to go with it or not (which counts as the 'by chance' initial encounter from before, except probably with more than one person who are clearly into it).
For the less taboo and more commonplace and socially acceptable kink stuff (i.e. BDSM as opposed to incest/rape) I think you just kind of play with someone and they bring it up IC and if you're down, go for it and if you're not, they'll try to force panther jizz down your throat.

And this is why Batman: the Animated Series should be on everyone's watch list, all the time.
And honestly, by extension: Superman: The Animated Series (which dealt with Darkseid brainwashing Kal-El into a monstrous servant), Batman Beyond (BECAUSE IT'S BATMAN BEYOND), and Justice League and Justice League: Unlimited because it was the culmination of all of those coming together.
Honestly just... those four shows are so fucking amazing. Even Superman, which was just a liiiiiiiiiiittle bit milquetoast compared to the others (especially the Batman ones).

Josh is an absolute knob but I love him because he's a knob in the most adolescent way possible. And refreshingly, he runs rightinto his prejudices and contradictions and comes out the other side changed--even in that very very very last scene you can see the sudden change when he realized all his preconceptions were backwards.
But yes, absolute idiot, in the best narrative way.

As for this one, speaking purely for myself -- some of the best scenes I've been in, story-wise, had some sex in them. Or at least things related to sex. So honestly, I don't really care if you post them. I encourage people to do so if there is some element of character growth or story development in there.
If you're just posting logs because it's tuesday and you're bored and you wanna smash your bits together again -- I mean, I'm not gonna stop you, but I'm probably gonna be a little annoyed that you made me read that expecting there to be something relevant in it when in fact it's just you and your budd(y/ies) trying to find synonyms for 'moans' while describing some piston action or tongue movements.
I mean on the other hand posting a log and sharing it doesn't automatically mean someone else has to read it. Nobody is making you read that stuff.

Van Helsing starts weird because they don't explain jack fucking shit until like episode 4-5, so it's interesting but you're not really sure why and that, now-a-days, generates distrust in viewers. I watched the first ep when it came out and then let it sit until season four was like three episodes in and I just binged the first three seasons without reservation.
It is a brutal, brutal take on both the undead apocalypse and vampires.
Oh, and by the way, Impulse on YouTube is fucking phenomenal.
