@TNP I did, yes. They were specific about making sure I was in-network.
So as part of my treatment for an on-going condition, I need to visit a specialist.
I search my insurance co's website for an in-network provider and find one. The visit as per the details of my insurance, is covered.
I visit. It goes well.
A few months later, I get a bill for $350. WTF?
I get told by my insurance that they're out of network. No, says I, they're in-network. They're literally listed in your in-network providers listing!
A customer service rep researches. Oops! They're not longer in-network. We'll get them taken off the site. You still owe $350. Too bad, so sad!
I have NO idea what to do. Appeal, I guess?
@Alamias Ideation (not actively pursuing suicide, but wishing you could go to sleep and not wake up or get hit by a random car) is no joke. If there's a means to talk to someone, through a help line, or local services...please take it.
I am attempting The Expanse for the third time, as it continues to get glowing recommendations. Thus far, it is holding my interest. Previously, I could barely get past the first episode, and now I'm on episode...5? 6? I think.
@Seamus As I understand it, there have been at least three.
That being said, at the time I might have dreamt it, it was during Mighty Morphin' and they hadn't become a thing yet!
I might have dreamed of being a Purple Ranger when I was a kid.
I'm not saying I did, but I might have!
I have no idea. The news reports I've read say "several times". The shooter stopped the car and fired six times, hitting the victim while he was approaching the synagogue doors.
I keep visualizing the area, the apartment complexes and the houses, and how I'm familiar with all of the little shortcuts between buildings and the demarcations of the eruv (the boundary that allows Orthodox Jews to engage in certain activities that are otherwise against the rules of the Sabbath). How the guy probably drove right past the apartment complex I was brought up in.
Someone shot a 66 year old man outside of a synagogue that is two blocks from where I grew up in Florida. I've known many people who have attended over the years, including friends, my pediatrician, and several teachers from my early elementary years. I've attended services there as well, though not as a regular.
Apparently this schmuck was in a car that circled the block several times before getting out with a gun and shooting. The victim is in the hospital and recovering, and the police have yet to determine it a hate crime.
I don't live there anymore, but this has shaken me up. There but for the grace of whomever, you know?
I've enjoyed both The Boys and Another Life over the weekend. I like how there's an indeterminate amount of people in soma that can be woken up and thus solves the problem of not being able to introduce new characters onto the ship and disrupt dynamics.
However, I've also watched the first five episodes of Orange is the New Black and the fifth episode absolutely gutted me.
Anyone else playing? My friend code is:

How does one do it? I hate that I've become ambivalent toward a game/character I love and can neither pinpoint the reason for my ambivalence nor figure out a way to reverse the feeling and become passionate about playing again. Should I be Kondo-ing, or grit my teeth and keep trying? Is there some other tactic to consider?
Advice appreciated.
