I just did a rewatch of How to Talk to Girls at Parties and am genuinely surprised at how much I liked it the second time around.

I just want to say that going through counselors/therapists isn't actually a bad thing. Just because they may all receive similar training or focus on similar therapies doesn't always mean that a particular therapist is going to be the best one for you. I've been to five different therapists/psychiatrists over the years, and only in the last few have I found a mental health team that has been able to really help me work on the really hard stuff.
Please don't be discouraged if circumstances or personalities don't align. It just means you haven't found the right person yet. Keep trying!

@tiredewok I'm actually obsessed with the incidental music he uses in his BTS videos. There's the one song with the banjo riff that I really want to get a copy of.

Double posting because I refuse to put something as amazing as Autodale in the same post as Classically Fucking Abby.
Dead Sound is an absolutely phenomenal storyteller, animator, and conceptual/FX artist. He's produced a ton of fantastical content, mainly focusing on his series "Autodale", a dystopian future story in which human beings live in a city where they desire to be parts in the machine but then lose their purpose when they're no longer "pretty".
He's also done short anthology bits, and includes Making Of videos with character breakdowns, and frankly, his Scottish accent is just frikkin' cool. I highly recommend.

She is not anywhere resembling my favorite Youtubers, but watching her gives me the same visceral pleasure/horror response of driving down the road and finding a six car pileup crossed with a train crash while the engine is on fire.
I give you Classically Abby.
Coincidentally, this is Ben Shapiro's sister.
They both need their J-card revoked.

@derp I feel you on that. I actually do experience some cognitive dissonance watching him play this open, loving person vs....well, Derek the Hot Werewolf.

@atomic Ashley is so precious. Esp. when she brings Beans onto the screen.

I really appreciate Tyler Hoechlin's take on Superman, because to me he carries this very visible joy and love for humanity, and genuine niceness that I like to see Superman hold. Superman is (for me, at least) about the best parts of humanity through the super hero lens.
Bitsie Tulloch's Lois, for some reason, isn't quite working for me and I can't quite put my finger on why.

I'm going through Claire Luana's works right now. I'm through the Confectioner Chronicles and just started Moonburner.

@surreality I mean, basically if you read any Anne McCaffery novel EVER you have seen her work, and it was formative in my imagination for how those characters and their dragons looked. Along with many Piers Anthony and even Lovecraft works.

I have a pretty decent BPAL collection...somewhere in my room.
My favorite scent is an old one: MVJBA: Spring Training 2008. Scents from edibles (candy, fruit, coffee, etc) for some reason suit my body chemistry the best.
I do miss having BPAL parties, passing around scents and bowls of coffee grinds to clear our noses and making trades.

A friend of mine wrote this; I am extremely proud of him. There's a movement growing within the American Jewish community and I hope it gets big.

@Aria You know I would be down for either Dragon Prince themed games. But playing a Sunrunner in particular would be delightful.
