I like the idea of a roster without the crunchy bits filled in.
Leave the name and some other stuff out, but give them a vague backstory and a +sheet and let the player just run with it.

Matrix 3's ending was so terrible I never want to revisit the franchise again.
@Ghost It's how I got the name smol (smol birb) birb.
If I was going to have a third sphere for mortal/+, I'd just make a new organization called 'The Agency'. It would be comprised of pure mortals/psychics. Or just pure mortals.
Make them the Technocracy minus the gadgets and magic. Their sole job is to cover up supernatural nonsense that the public might get wind of. It gives them cause to deal with supernaturals in a non-destructive way.
I really enjoyed... most seasons. Coven and Hotel really stuck out for me as my favorites. Roanoke was somewhat weak (until the twist, which redeemed it) and Cult just felt like the writers were sitting in a dark room, masturbating over politics.
Freak Show was a bit of an odd duck to me, but it still really struck some of the right chords for me with the references to discrimination and the ugliness of America during that time period.
Asylum I really liked, and it really made me cringe. A close family member of mine was sent to an asyium in the 60s and given shock treatments to fix her 'mental illness' because she ran away from home after an uncle molested her in her teens... so it dredged up a lot of dark feelings for me.
Murder House I didn't really get to watch until -after- some of the other seasons, so I didn't appreciate it as much. Well, until Apocalypse rolled around and made Murder House pretty great.
I wonder when it came about that IC cornflake pissing was a problem OOCly. I've always valued most of the people who antagonize my PC. I say most, because yes there are a select few who abuse it.
I think if you police the problem players on an individual basis you can have antagonist factions.
Or, conversely, he did what he thought was right and then backed down because nobody backed him up on it.
I have about 2800 hours of dota 2 on my accounts and have spent a huge amount of money on stupid, pointless cosmetic items.
And since I play mostly in the morning hours I wind up queued with four-stacks of Peruvians which pretty much ruins the fun of the game.
Why can't they play on the South America server? Why? It's right there! So close to them!
Mage isn't overpowered.
You can -totally- kill a Mage who for some reason forgets their hanging spells, is asleep, and somehow fails the difficult to fail rolls to avoid being surprised.
I forced myself to watch Daybreak on Netflix. I am not the show's target audience but I found the show very refreshing and the acting quite good. The first few episodes started off a bit rocky for me but they were humorous enough to keep me entertained.
If I made myself as an nWoD character I'd probably give myself super high social and intelligence stats that I don't really qualify for and if you tried to tell me otherwise I'd just ragequit.
But I think most of us think of ourselves as Intelligence 5, Wits 5, Resolve 5, Manipulation 5, etcetera.
Guys can be creepers. I was escorting a photographer downtown the other day while she took pictures of a building for marketing purposes. She had multiple creepers come up trying to hit on her. We had expected me to be there to protect her from random homeless people. Instead I had to be like 'We're working here. Go away.' to random fucking dudebros. No shame whatsoever.
It always means 'the one you put the least points into'.
He has the meaning backwards. Charisma is a dump stat.
Feeding the 'homeless' who ask you for money isn't helping anyone. Ever. I am a former homeless person. I can regale you with all the tales of homelessness you like. The ones who approach you and ask for food/money are junkies or scammers, for the most part. You're just enabling bad habits or a toxic lifestyle.
If you want to help the homeless give to one of thousands of reputable charities.
Because you can put 'a' after any string of letters and turn it into a feminine sounding name.
Buttera
Tacoa
Doga
Peanuta
...ad infinitum.
@tek Couldn't I get the same effect with salt and maybe some mild pork broth?
Speaking as someone who has been telenuked many, many times, here is the definitive definition:
Telenuke - An act whereby a character inflicts damage or death on another character through means that do not require the two characters to be in a scene together.
@Tinuviel Providing incorrect information knowingly is the definition of lying.
