But on a more serious note, I don't think I could ever enjoy a Firefly game again after the shitshow that was SerenityMUSH. It was so poorly run and the playerbase so toxic that I can't even enjoy the TV series/film anymore.
I get stopped regularly by 'Save The Children' folks asking for donations. Every time they ask me 'Excuse me Sir! Do you believe every child deserves a fair start in life?'
Fuck that question. Fuck them. Here's my last two answers.
"No, and I'll tell you why. These 'children' you are saving is really just patching a wound, a wound that is best fixed by providing education and infrastructure to third world countries. Ensuring that children are born in better conditions is a better use of money."
And... here's the lazy version I used most recently.
"No. The world is overpopulated as it is." That one earned an 'Oh my God!' and a look of horror. It felt -good-. Fuck you, Save The Children. Fuck you so hard.

I'd suggest Dragon Quest Builders 2, but only because I'm a giant nerd and enjoying that game far, far more than I have any other recent games.
I'm torn between keeping complaints anonymous and letting people know who their accusers are.
On the one hand, it protects victims.
On the other, I've been on the receiving end of complaints before and only given some vague 'You did bad stuff, but we can't tell you what because then you'll figure out who complained' reasons for it. I wound up removed from a game over it.
And years later I found out what it was, and it was something I had nothing to do with and was just some jealous girl trying to remove some other girl's RP partners through frivolous sexual harassment complaints.
...I think I just reminded myself why I don't play on MU*s as much as I used to.
I'm looking to move into a three or four bedroom house myself, as well. The more the merrier, I say.
So, uh. Greedfall. It's okay so far. I've read the reviews and there are some valid complaints but for such a small studio the game is fantastic.
If you really want it? Buy it. Otherwise wait for it to go on sale. It's definitely worth a play.

Mongolian and Scandinavian folk metal is my jam. I have a whole playlist made up of it. Probably my most played. Though lately I keep listening to the song Monkey Boy by Kontrust. It isn't even a good song but damn is it stuck in my head.
The most annoying part of this is people on the side of China trying to 'educate' me about how things work in China. About how I 'do not understand Chinese culture'.
Motherfuckers, I am a giant nerd for Chinese culture. I study Chinese history as a freaking hobby, because I am that interested in it. -I used to live in China-. I am as intimately knowledgeable as you can be with something while being an outsider.
The oppression of Hong Kong has absolutely nothing to do with 'culture' and 'tradition'. It has to do with the CCP and its endless pursuit of state capitalism. The enemy of Chinese culture and tradition is the goddamn Chinese government and I feel like I'm screaming into the wind every time someone tells me 'I just don't understand China'.

Umbrella Academy was pretty fantastic, even as someone who isn't overly fond of Ellen Page. I found myself thoroughly interested in the characters despite the story being weak.
Seconded on Rimworld. I play it daily. It's Dwarf Fortress for those of us who need at least rudimentary graphics.
Why not just do an Adult World of Darkness game instead? I mean, they're all borderline pornographic anyways in the way they're played, but to actually call it an Adult game and advertise it as such would probably give it a greater chance of success than Queen's Blade.
The added bonus would be that players drawn to it for the Adult themes might actually enjoy the game system and play on other World of Darkness games.

I've been playing Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. It's... actually a lot of fun. Positioning and communication matter a lot more than just a good shot. Taking objectives and supporting your team give a lot more points than kills, which are mostly inconsequential.
My first experience in the game was hearing that napalm was coming, so I dove through a window. I looked back the way I came and saw my entire squad melting and screaming. If you enjoy FPSes, I highly recommend it.
