DoW 3 is more akin to a MOBA than the other games. They removed cover and most of the customization options.
It's all about spamming units, getting heroes, then winning. Nothing else. No strategy.

I'm gonna homebrew some Fuckpire rules. That'll fix the 5e problem.
Roseanne canceled for the star calling a black woman an ape?
Somehow this does not surprise me in the slightest.
...well, okay. A little. I didn't expect the network to cancel the show. The comments were totally expected though.
Ah well.
Also @Aria, Aggretsuko is a good show. For some reason, the fennec reminded me of Ganymede...
So, Far Cry 5.
It's really solid so far, and I haven't even touched multiplayer yet. All the right-wing criticism of the game was unwarranted, as the game has some disturbing 'The gun hoarders and conspiracy nuts are the best hope for America' vibes.
Despite the main bad guy literally being 'David Koresh with Jim Jones glasses' I can say, as someone who grew up in an extremely religious household, that the game is not anti-Christian as the Evangelicals were worried. They take special pains to ensure that you are aware that the cultists are at odds with the local religious types. (I was a little weirded out to see the local pastor wearing a priest's collar, though.)
I'd say the game is worth buying if you love FPS games. It's better than Far Cry 3 and 4, if only because I actually get to shoot at people who aren't 'native savages'. I feel much less like a racist piece of shit for enjoying it than I did the previous ones.
Why can't we remove the stupid humanity bullshit and let people RP what they want to RP? My vampire can be a good person or a monster but I shouldn't be railroaded towards certain moralities.
And I say this as someone who doesn't play total murderous monsters. I haven't since I was a teenage edgelord. They're bogging a game about -being a fucking undead monster with super powers- down into something tedious.
The 'we' thing is garbage they teach you in basic management classes in college. Well, shitty colleges. It is supposed to make your employees feel more connected to you or something.
I say shitty colleges, because that's what they tried teaching me in my management classes in college. And it's terrible.
My response to 'we' would be the trolling described above by @Ifrit.
@firepuff Cat Goes Fishing is the best cat-themed game out there and I will totally argue this fact on the internet.
Oh no, someone was enjoying the game in a way I do not enjoy the game!
@arkandel Do you want me to fight you, or do you want me to cover the fights of other people and just change a few lyrics to be self-referential?
Crusader Kings 2 is free on Steam right now. Amazing game.Try it, and if you like it, buy the DLC stuff for it.
I never saw such a meeting. Nobody I talked to did either.
@auspice Death Punch would do a cover of Nickelback's songs, changing some of the lyrics to insert their band's name.
Nickelback would win because the new, shittier version would cause a new appreciation for how much worse Nickelback could have been.
Paradox Interactive bought Harebrained Schemes, the company that made the new Battletech game (Along with a few great Shadowrun games).
That, and the close relationship Paradox has with Obsidian could bring us some pretty damn great WoD video games.
I care about the hobby and enjoy it just fine. You people freaking out about 'zomg so and so said mean things about me!' is what I am mocking. You're all being ridiculous.
@Auspice Freedom is great and everything, but I hate to eat out by myself. Don't go getting a car -too- soon.
@auspice I haven't killed any citizens. It's still not hard, just time consuming. You dodge dodge dodge hit.
And the easiest way to stay relevant in combat is to raise your endurance and keep your weapons upgraded.
@surreality I have no problem with you in general but I do wish, for your health and well-being, that you did not get as involved in the... more dubious social aspects of this hobby. The backbiting and rumormongering and stuff that other folks do may just be venting to them but you seem to be more negatively impacted by it than others when you are exposed to it.
So, there is a big push in Austin to build a giant fuckall stadium and a professional soccer team. Soccer. Everyone for it goes on and on about how stadiums help the local economy and how they bring in tourism and raise property values and blahblahblah. How this stadium will make people want to 'visit Austin'.
The stadium is soccer. How many Americans travel to soccer away games? (Hint: Not enough for a meaningful boost to Austin tourism.)
Austin is already the biggest tourism destination in Texas. If you're gonna visit a city in Texas for the sake of visiting a city in Texas, you go to Austin. A stadium won't change that.
What -really- pisses me off. Really, really pisses me off is that one of the other options for the plot of land (land the city owns and wants to -give- to the stadium folks) is low income housing. They could literally use this land to help keep people from becoming homeless, or even possibly uplift some of the homeless we have.
Homeless who, amusingly enough (not amusing at all.) drive down tourism by congregating in downtown Austin.
This whole thing reeks of kickbacks and corruption and idiots who want a shiny toy rather than the sensible solution to help the city.
The kicker is that in this so-called liberal town, people are more concerned with their property values than actually doing the right thing that would also help the city in the process.
Fallout 76 is worth buying. That is all. Carry on.
Why can't you just called it "Magicians MUX'? Names don't need to be fancy. Nobody is going to remember the flowery version. If the name tells people what it is that will be enough to draw them in. In a crowded field with multiple other MU*s like World of Darkness then you should use a unique name but if you're the only game in town... flaunt it.
