@SinCerely Just mark up the prices enough to make a profit regardless of how it fluctuates. Find the lowest price you can sell at and still make a profit at your peak cost and set it there.

Bad TV: Locke and Key - No spoilers edition

1.) The lead child actor is terrible. Teeeeeeeerrible. There's lots of good child actors out there. They did not pick one.

2.) Oh, I know! Let's give one of the villains a mental illness to explain why he does craaaaazy shit. It'll be edgy! Because BPD totally makes you kill people.

3.) Supernatural horror? Pfffft. No way. Let's make it a teen fantasy drama.

4.) The writing is stilted and uneven. The characters do stupid stuff for sake of plot instead of organic reactions to situations. Important things are ignored so people later can go 'Buh?' when it's already been in a situation to come up.

5.) It pretty much uses the source material as a mask with the content being entirely different from the original theme.

I wanted to like it. I really, really did.

I thought the characters made sense and everything played out in a reasonable manner.

Fate/Zero was entertaining.

So I call. There's a big goddamn kerfuffle over it. They let the driver load.

I get the call an hour later chewing me out for not stopping him from loading with my magical fucking powers to override the people who do the loading.

Trying to call in sick to work and finding out none of your co-workers will cover for you.

Then getting a call an hour later from someone telling you to come in three hours early because they have a family emergency.

I told them no. Things were dragged up the corporate ladder. Apparently my supervisor didn't report my attempt to call in sick at all, and expedited their 'emergency' call-in. What's the emergency? Well their adult daughter is in the hospital with some sort of minor injury and they want to visit them.

Whereas I've been puking my guts up all day and can't stand up more than a few minutes without vertigo.

...I'm just about done with this shit.
