When you're not sure if your neighbor is in an abusive relationship, or if it's some really weird stuff going on, because she's still with the guy in question, they don't fight (that I can hear or detect), and even days later they can be everything's-fine laughing.

There's a lot I'm leaving out, here, but sometimes I hear certain sounds and I wonder wtf was that.

RE: Taking COVID seriously. In my area we have agricultural workers who are now in quarantine because thirty-six of them tested positive. With no symptoms. I have a fair to good chance of having interacted with them, because they came through work on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.

My parents got a message this week saying I can't interact with them in person until further notice, because now I have no clue if I'd be a ticking time bomb on their health. I could be asymptomatic right now, and getting tested is a tall order since I show none of the signs. Not only that, two of my close coworkers are in the high risk group (age) and they could have been infected. No symptoms yet, but if the virus can propagate without symptoms and they caught it from those same workers...

I think my point is clear about severity. Today I'll be trying to convince my boss and/or THE boss to see if it's possible for a number of us to get tested just to see if our store has been compromised because of this.

I think it's all but official that @Rinel should become smol goose now.

My depression meals all seem to start with the words "ice cream" or "gelato". Dunno why, but it's usually something cold and dairy that I turn to in depression moods.

To answer the original question, and not the tangent about mac & cheese (btw, crunchy only before it's cooked pls), my PB 'realism' is based on how much of an approximate match the picture or pictures are to my mental image of my PCs. Sometimes that mental image evolves over time and I eventually feel the need to change PBs, or fail to find a new match and nuke the current one.

Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue -- Saskia has a lot to say on the subject of guinea pigs. I wish I had known even a tenth of what she has demonstrated and/or discussed in her videos about them, especially the taming aspect, when my sibling and I had one as a pet 30ish years ago.
