Exo Squad is back.
You can watch the entire 52-episode series on Peacock. For free.
This show got so shafted in the early 90s, but you really ought to watch it for the story.

Yes, we've discussed the issues of cultural insensitivity. I'm still thinking the best way to handle it. I'm not 100% onboard with writing our own world, because I lose interest in things quick.
You could always have someone else write the world up so that you can focus on the stories you want to tell within it.

My 17 year old has a 36" waist with a 32" inseam. I cannot tell you how many times he's ended up in a 34/30 or 38/32 or some variation thereof because apparently each brand gets to decide how long an 'inch' actually is. And lets not get into the shirt sizes which range from Medium to X-Large because apparently even men are now supposed to just be tiny twigs with no shoulders.
Even within the brand, it's not standard.

Just another month or two until the ME Trilogy Remastered for next-gen consoles is released.
My partner's reaction to me buying a next-gen console for the game:
Bought this and I love the line.

Companies that try to "have fun" are so hollow and annoying.
While you can't force your workers to have fun at work, as a boss I try to make work as fun as possible. If work is not fun? I don't like doing it. So, I can understand that, if work is not fun, people may be looking for a job which is fun to them.
But, as you said, you can't force people to do that. Some people like to treat their job as just that. And bosses should let them and not hold that against them. However, there is a substantial amount of people who want their job to feel less like work and more like fun, so if there's anything I can do to do that, I'mma gonna do it.

Everyone should be introduced to magic how Norwood was. (See his secret)
That's okay. I've already applied the ban and I have the evidence I need to confirm the connection.

My only concern is that since they never posted it's hard to tell if it was actually Az's account but then again, since they never posted losing the account isn't a great unfairness.
Admins have access to other information that users do not.
I have evidence and reason to believe that both DropBear and SabotKick72 were DWOPP.
I also have evidence and reason to believe that Enervation is the player complained about in the Azazello PSA Thread. It is not the inference suggested by Jeshin.
Again, if anyone has reason to believe that I made an error or that another account has been opened for either person, or for the same person as the case might be, please advise an admin.
Members who have known me through here for a while know that I am oft a stickler for process. Call it an occupational habit.
I have read more Reddit threads in the past week than I have in my life. I have looked through an old thread on DownWithOPP and I have read the recent thread about Azazello, Cullen, Talwyn, and other alts he has played. I have looked at my old chats with members here, all of whom were concerned that DWOPP was never banned and may be keeping tabs on the players he has victimized.
I said long ago that I wanted MSB to become more of a safe place than its previous iterations. I meant that. It is purely coincidental that Arkandel passed the torch to me to manage this place as his successor on the same day that we Americans watched an aged man serving his country, who then took the extraordinary step of taking action to, in his opinion, make his home a better place. And while I have never been comfortable judging people preemptively or prejudicially, I have also never been comfortable where others have felt uneasy and in fear of the people around them.
I do not know for certain whether DownWithOPP is the same player as Enervation, but I have read enough about both to decide that I don't want them around. I have decided to ban DownWithOPP, as well as SabotKick72, DropBear, and Enervation. I am not going to wait, as we did with Tyche, until something egregious happens. I see no point on letting him continue to lurk here. And while I am all-but-certain he will simply make another account under another false e-mail address, making the announcement that we will take action to keep him off this place -- we keep our regular troll friends off the place too -- is something that I hope will make some of our members feel a little more secure.
If anyone suspects there are other accounts accessed by the person behind any of the above accounts, please let the admins know and we'll have a looksee.

Not for nothing but I think it's okay to institute a policy of "you're not allowed to play a lunatic who is compelled to murder the whole world until and unless you prove you can handle it well."
Or -- OR -- maybe just institute a policy of "you're not allowed to play a lunatic who is compelled to murder the whole world."
In all parts of the forum, we have one rule: do not post any personal information regarding a person's real identity ("PI").
This includes, but is not limited to: (1) real first names; (2) real last names; (3) mailing addresses; (4) pictures showing the person; (5) phone numbers; (6) social security numbers; or (7) any other information which could be used to easily locate a particular person in real life. The reasons for this are myriad, and should not have to be explained.
Repercussions will depend entirely on the circumstances. Even a single offense may result in permanent banning from here. Please do not break this rule.
In addition to the above, please pay attention to the following policies and act in accordance with the same:
If you believe someone has released yours or another's PI, please notify an admin immediately. You are not required to request that a poster remove your PI or their PI from their posts.
If you accidentally or inadvertently release your PI, please edit your post to remove the PI immediately or delete the post in its entirety. If you cannot or are unable to do so for any reason, please notify an admin immediately. If you are linking to an Etsy page or another site which may have your PI, that's fine; however, be advised that this may make it easier for bad people to find you.
Us Admins will do our best to respond as quickly as possible to remove PI from the forum. This may result in the deletion of posts and loss of information; however, be advised that we believe that the privacy of posters here outweighs any interest we may have in retaining the text of a particular post.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the admins for clarification. This policy may be altered as required in the future to address situations as they arise.
Thank you, Ark, for inviting me here and having confidence in my ability to take over EmmahSue's brainchild. I hope I can instill the same sort of confidence members have had in your sense of fairness.
As mentioned elsewhere, I will be posting a policy on RL information shortly. I'm still supposed to be working.
For the membership, with Arkandel stepping away, our council is down to two admins: myself and Mietze. I would like to pull on a third admin, as it has been our tradition to have three folks monitoring this forum and consulting on matters related to its management. As may be inferred from a previous post of mine, we are hoping that someone here with experience in IT or using/managing nodeBB is willing to serve.
We offer nothing but our collective love as compensation, for whatever that is worth.

I appreciate the sentiment but I'm not sure that's a good idea in America at this exact instant. I'll revisit my reluctance after more of my countrymen get vaccinated.
The threat of disease is a good reason not to do it, of course. I think the sentiment implies some sort of safety in doing so; e.g., if the shopping cart is filled with rabid wolverines, I will likely not go near it.
That said, I like the sentiment, and I'm supposed to be COVID-immune for another few months.
@tinuviel said in Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.:
And that sounds an awful lot like SOCIALISM!
A friend of mine posed the following retort:
The true metric is not with the person who used the cart, but the person who sees the cart in the parking lot. Who left the cart there? Why did they not return it? These are pointless questions: the real question is whether you will return it for them.
