If we look outside the world of MUs (it does exist, I promise!), Starbase 118, a play by email game, has been going for 25 years. And it has neither sheet (beyond character details) nor stats. Advancement through the ranks is one of the options, of course.

Did you put /newinput in your connection strings? My understanding is that the docking layout of the window is saved separately, so if you have you're asking it to create a newinput every time you log in.

It also felt like the plot should have been season 3, not 2. It's like there's a middle there missing.
It kind of is. The plot of S2 is the plot of book 3. I don't know why they made that decision.

I did this and accidentally spoiled some of the metaplot for myself, and discovering it as the podcast reveals it is part of the fun.

For the past few weeks I've been very stressed - my volunteer and professional lives have both piled a bunch of stuff on me at the same time - which far from activating my normal trigger of 'yay deadlines! let's get stuff DONE!' has managed to completely overwhelm that reflex and instead nothing is getting done as deadlines sail past my head.
This has now lead to serious anxiety to the point that I feel nauseous 90% of the time, my appetite is shot to shit, and I burst into tears at inopportune moments every other day. To top it off I now can't seem to sleep more than a few hours at a time before waking up feeling sick and unable to get back to sleep, and I've lost 4lb in the last 2-3 days.
So so glad I am seeing my therapist on Monday because I think the next stop is the doctor.
Battlecruiser 3000AD. I think I spent a total of thirty minutes trying to figure out what on Earth there was to do in the game before giving up completely and never playing it again.
