@pyrephox Only if you actually state that your projection shows both methods work just fine.

@pyrephox Yes. I don't honestly find this kind of display very constructive, because the projected margin is so slim it's in 'who gives a damn' territory, but is presented in a way that all but begs for interpretation by people who don't want to math out the systems as "oh no if I don't do this right I am at a big disadvantage".

I also really love comedian podcasts, and they fill a lot of hours during my workday.
I think I rotate through four currently.

Listen, this is an intervention. Please sit down, we want to tell you that we care about you.

RE: Podcasts
I like My Favorite Murder because it's funny true crime and the hosts are women.
Science Vs is amazing, and the host is a woman.
This Podcast will Kill You is a super interesting exploration of disease and such by....women
The Faculty of Horror is a great podcast that examines and critiques horror films of all decades by women.
I just. It's so easy to hear men talking. It's nice to have a break from that, sometimes.

RE: Podcasts
@buttercup those are mostly great ones. Also, "My Favorite Murder". Coincidence Island is a great ep to sample.

Generic ritalin is garbage. It gave me a headache every day I was on it. Generic adderall does not, luckily.

@aerianyx Not being able to sleep is more serious than you think. If something is preventing you from it and you are struggling, there is no shame at all in looking for help. It's not a contest. I know how hard that is to accept, believe me, but it isn't. What you are going through is real, and you deserve to have better health.

RE: MU Things I Love
When something happens you don't agree on, and everything is muddled and kind of sucky, but it leads to a really healthy discussion and agreement about a better way to handle things as staff, moving forward.
I like reaching understandings.

is this the whitest thing you've ever referenced?

RE: Learning how to apply appropriate boundaries
Be concise. Be clear. Do not make it about them. Do not get bogged down. Think "we don't do that here", or "this bothers me, I'd appreciate it if I didn't have to deal with it".

RE: Good Music
I can echo (from a year ago) St vincent and pomplamoose, and I think anyone in the world should listen to Gogol Bordello - Start Wearing Purple, Dogs were Barking, American Wedding, Illumination, I Just Realized...also the best live show I have ever been to, even in a small DC club.

RE: The Makeup Thread
BH Cosmetics has a decent formula and is always affordable. Moreso now with a big BF sale. This one has some very neutral olives, but they have a lot of palettes:

@auspice I wear super colorful shades all the time- purple, green, blue. I mean, it's def not for everyone but I think the trick (to keep it from looking 80s/90s) is to pair those colors with coordinating neutrals. Like a warm reddish brown with green looks amazing, and an orangey brown with purple? or a nice grayish taupe.

RE: The Makeup Thread
Oh, the tricksy swatches. They do look gorgeous, though. I love this palette, even if I think I HAVE all these colors. I have to stop buying eyeshadow.
