      I am so sorry for what you dealing with GreenFlashlight and what those around you are dealing with.

      I was working the Covid isolation floor yesterday and am worried about a staffer who came down with a strange blood clot, wondering if it is covid related and if they have more clots.

      The crisis is far from over and its going to be a rough winter, I think.

      Best size for ts scenes! Because really everything is sort of about sex or something idk.

      1. Rping a sex scene with myself is just textual masturbation

      2. A two person sex is sort of standard and a good size for a tinysex scene, but rping sex scene after sex scene with the same characters (without breaking it up with other rp) can eventually become a pretty dull shade of gray.

      3. . Three person sex scenes are in theory totally wonderful. As one of those pan folks, I am like yay, a threesome with a boy and a girl at same time sounds great. /Sounds/ great lol, it rarely works out. Hard to line up times. Easy for it go to wrong and often in danger of the third wheel effect.

      4. A four person ts scene tends to turn into two duos having lateral sex scenes - yes I know from experience, gasp!

      5. A five person sex scene is officially and orgy and well pretty confusing, hehe.

      Well there is going to be a vaccine soon! and I then I might start to work normal hours. Also excited for our community that was really hit hard with covid and my co workers who are all deeply exposed.

      I am so blessed that after working like I have been, I get a little down time to recharge.

      I feel the pain of glasses and face mask. I have to wear a face through 18 hour shifts and I have to wear goggles over my glasses. I have terrible vision and with goggles over my glasses my vision is worse and I have to get my mask just right so it doesn't fog up.

      Some mushers got their discord accounts hacked. What happens is they click on a invite to join a severer and scan to verify they are human ad then this gives someone else the ability to log into their discord account and spam all their friends with servers.

      So maybe too late!

      But if you get requests to join servers, I wouldn't join right and def don't verify and scan any codes.

    • How to juge how active a game is!

      I tried this before, but my formatting was not readable!

      I was talking with a friend oocly about what games are active and how to judge that. And we considered things like 100 people could be logged on, but if everyone has 4 alts, it is really only 25 people and if everyone is idle and dark with no rp going on, the game might not be truly that active. So I made a quiz for activeness of game!

      1. How many bits are logged in during prime time hours generally.

      A. More than 100
      B. More than a 50
      C. More than 25
      D. Less than 25

      1. Is lot of the logged in character alts, npcs, a billion staff alts?

      A.Most people are likely logged in with 1-2 characters
      B.Lots of the players have a bunch of alts.
      C.Staff has lot of npcs logged in and many players have alts.
      D.Staff an their friends are playing most of the bits logged in. There are not that many unique players despite log ins.

      3.How many people are idle more than an hour during prime play times?

      A.25 of the percent of the people logged in or less are idle
      B.50 percent of the logs in are idle
      C.75 percent of the log ins are idle
      D.Most people are idle most of the time.

      1. How may people are visibly on the grid during busy hours

      A. 50 people people show up in +where are out on the grid
      B. 20+ people show up on +where and are on the grid
      C.10+ people are show up on +Where and are on the grid.
      D. Less than 10 people are generally out on the grid.

      1. How many people are in hangouts during peak hours- public or sphere in which one could just drop in and rp with.

      A. 20 more people are in hangouts
      B. 10 more more people are in hangouts
      C.5 more more people are in hangouts
      D. less than 5, hangouts are very empty

      1. If you ask on the rp channel or via other ooc means can you likely get rp?

      A. Most of the time!
      B.Sometimes
      C. Unlikely
      D. Almost impossible

      1. Does staff run plot and how much!

      A. Staff runs lot of plot that most people can join if they want
      B. Staff runs some plot and many can participate.
      C. Staff runs only occasional plot an only some can join
      D. Staff rarely runs plot and only favorites can join.

      1. Is there Prps that players run for each other?

      A. Yes, lots of prps and easy to get approval to run them and some really great ones!
      B. Some prps, not too hard to get approved, some decent ones.
      C. A few prps, some work to get approved, some very limited in scope.
      D. Rare prps, with little influence and the red tape makes them not worth the effort.

      1. How responsive is staff to jobs related to plot/story

      A. Very!
      B. Decent
      C. Slow
      D. They probably won't answer

      1. How much of the rp is bar rp/tinysex/relationship rp vs how much is plot/politics/prp/planning and etc.

      A. One can tinysex and bar rp of they want, but there is so much deep plot one doesn't need to fill the time with such if they are not inclined.
      B. There is some of both
      C. A lot more tinysex and romance than plot, but enough plot to add some spice at times.
      D. It is all sex and social chatter. How about that weather! I will bring the chips to the weekly orgie is the main action.

      1. Is there rp during odd ball off peak hours?

      A. Yes, absolutely, I can scene at 3 am if I want.
      B. Yes, but is limited
      C. Sometimes
      D. Rarely

      1. Can anyone who tries, acts right and rps decently find plot/rp/inclusion

      A. Absolutely, all welcome here who are acting right and ready to rp!
      B. Sometimes, but not in all aspects of the game.
      C. Most of the action/plot is reserved for players with certain ooc connections.
      D. Anyone not part of the game's main clique is not ooc welcomed.

      A=4 points
      B=3 points
      C=2 points
      D=1 point

      12 points is a dead game
      24 points is a slow game
      36 points is a active game
      48 points is a very active game.

      While I love crafting.

      I find this game very appealing even without the crafting. The richness of the world, the depth of the story being created for this world and well my personal experience with your rp and storytelling, having me quite eager for the game.

      I am not sure how much interest it will generate, but I think it will be more than ten players who end up asking to app in.

      I was working endless hours.
      I came down with covid right before I was going to get vaccinated.
      I was on the covid unit running about trying to help people when I realized I couldn't breath very well myself. Covid rapid test was postive and I got quickly rushed off the floor, ended up in the ER and briefly in the hospital. They were controlling my fever with cool iv fluids. I did have a very high viral load paired with exhaustion though. I was working every day about 14 hours a day at the time I got it. I am home doing better. Resting lots. Planning to go back to work when my quarantine ends. Not sure if I will mush or not during my off time, taking it day by day.

    • RE: How can we incentivize IC failure?

      @arkandel

      The biggest thing to mitigate defeat on a mush I think would be. Such as a player losing a title of importance another character.

      -Staff running running plotline and including defeated characters in plot.

      -Players continuing to welcome and rp with characters who been defeated (cannot be regulated or commanded, only suggested)

      -The player who is defeated being positive, non-pouty and continuing to seek rp. As the rejected feeling of being defeated can sometimes lead mushers to be their own worse enemies.

      -Leaders delegating plot and rp to non-leaders

      -Creating more titles or sub commanders under commanders
      to make more room for characters to have titles/jobs etc on the game.

      -Having plot and adventure that is specifically designed for people who are lesser importance to do. Oh, we cannot risk our leaders on this dangerous mission, any no leaders want to volunteer and step up?

      -Having leaders who rp with non leaders, including people who might be their ic competition.

      I got the Pfizer shot. I had Covid in December, but my work, my doctor, the health dept still wanted me to vaccinate because of the nature of my work and etc. Most of my co workers and patients also got the pfizer. I had both doses.

      I got very sick both times with a fever, muscle aches, bone aches, fatigue, extremely painful arm. Both times it resolved completely in about 48 hours. I seen lots of people vaccinated and some didn't quite as sick as me, but I a very reactive type of person with allergies and autoimmune issues. It seems to vary a lot in how it goes for people.

      Some people had no symptoms after the shots, some had just arm pain, some had a mild fever, aches and a headache. Some felt pretty sick. Symptoms seem to resolve in 24-48 hours and be the worse about 12-24 hours after the shot. The second shot had some sicker than the first shot, but for those who had covid, the first shot was the worse.

      I haven't seen any serious adverse reactions, but that doesn't mean they don't happen. It just means I haven't seen it.

      Also none of this is official medical advice and everyone look at their own situation and speak to their Doctor.

      I do think when possible it is a good idea to take the day off from work the day after one gets the Covid vaccine, but of course that is easier said than done and I had to work the day after the vaccine.

      I was super nervous about getting the shot and didn't want it. I was like I already had Covid. But then I came to the decision that because of my job I am morally obligated to take the vaccine and reduce the chance that I could carry a Covid variant to my patients and the like. I am glad I got it and the temporary feeling like crap was worth it.

      Also I feel like the vaccine is working in that my job has been covid free since everyone has been vaccinated and we did have one floor that didn't have a covid outbreak before the vaccine and they have yet to have an outbreak. Now, of course it is not going to work 100 percent of time, but it is looking good in terms of being helpful.

    • RE: Pandemic Era Issues

      So I did 5 days straight and was all stressed out. I am getting more effected by stress at work than I was last winter. Our staffing shortage is much worse. Our covid rates were I am are real low though so that is good. But just the stress of endlessly being short staffed and working so much. I think to there was like a rush that gave me energy to work alot and with that rush fading, but the need not fading, there is an exhaustion. I am not alone in this, lots of the nurses and nurse's aids I work with report the same. Some are leaving the medical field over it.

      While I understand the reason for the vaccine mandate and absolutely have no desire to get into the politics of such, so I vote we don't go there. And I am not arguing against such.

      I am stressed because some of the nurses were I work are going to leave over mandates and our staffing is about to get worse. Many are agency nurses and now the whole country will be fighting for agency nurses as the number of them gets even lower. I am fully vaccinated and plan to stay nursing and to follow any vaccine mandates. But what is going down the line in turns of nursing shortages has me pretty frightened for my patients, for my workplace for the whole country and for myself.

      My anxiety is super high and has been also effecting my mushing.

      I have 3 days off straight and I need them so bad. I got asked to come today and I said no. I don't normally say no. But I just can't keep going and going, coming in all the time. I already did like 60 hours. I don't need to over 70 hours right now.

      But on the other hand I feel sort of gulity too, like they really need me. So I feel bad for saying no and yet I feel like I have to pace myself if I am going to make through this coming storm. This fall and winter are going to be a shit show.

      I took an oath when I graduated from nursing school and I take that oath extremely seriously. I would never deny someone medical care based on their life choices.

      Allthough, it is true that medical system is overwhelmed. I think more so than many realize and I think it is about to get worse.

    • RE: Goodbye.

      @Ghost

      I agree with a lot of this. Mushing takes not just a lot of time, but often a lot of emotional energy. It sometimes comes without a lot of building and growth.

      The time can leave less time to exercise, cook healthy food, meet friends in real life, study for school, focus on a partner and even find love.

      Sometimes playing fantasy people can increase insecurity and slow one in finding peace and comfort with themselves.

      At the height of my mush addiction I was working nights in an acute hospice care and spending my days caring for my at the time profoundly autistic son who the experts told would never be okay. I felt very isolated. He used to scream when out with too much stimulus. I was also told my autoimmune situation might have a poor prognosis and lead me to an early death, leaving my son to an uncertain fate

      I was too depressed to cry about it, face it or think about it so I mushed day after day hour after hour and finally started to feel not even real. I would attend death after death at night in this dream like half real state.

      I wasted a lot of time.

      I am not fully better, but I faced my pain. I cried. I stopped working nights. I stopped working hospice. I focused on my health and have a new hopeful prognosis and a new more helpful nurse practitioner in place of my old MD. I worked a covid unit and learned I have a lot to offer people. And most of all my son is doing much better and is now considered higher functioning. He talks up a storm, is healthy, happy and loves to go do things. He may never be independent and that scares me for him, but they said the same if me so time will tell. Love him either way.

      Mushing was not all bad and I still play in a limited way.

      I made great and very helpful friends. I learned a lot about writing and people. I talked with many Neuro atypical supportive peeps who encouraged me. I got massive support from the mushing community and at times the distraction of the game is what I needed, but I took it too far.

      I mush still, but only when and if it feels healthy and good and I will never mush so much it is like a second life rather than a game again.

    • RE: Good or New Movies Review

      @arkandel

      I went to see and I recognized that it was very well done, but I couldn't really tolerate it not because of any flaws in the movie but maybe because it was almost too good at what it was doing.

      The violence was too much for me, the dark eerie lighting, the music while good kept me super anxious especially when I was already super anxious over war. The mental torment of some of the characters was too easy to emphasize too much and made me super anxious. I ended up covering my face during part of it and trying to take breaths to calm down it was that kind of bad for me.

      So while probably a good movie, it too dark for everyone!

      Probably not a movie for people who are sensitive, not in the right mood and etc.
